    The Twitter Files
Musk is releasing proof of how Twitter and big tech colluded with Quid Pro Joe to rig the 2020 elections by suppressing the content of the Hunter Biden laptop

Just a reminder of one of the key texts that was on the computer .

“I hope you all can do what I did and pay for everything for this entire family for 30 years. It’s really hard. But don’t worry, unlike Pop, I won’t make you give me half of your salary.”(Hunter Biden, text message to daughter Naomi, 2019)

China, Ukraine and Russia threw millions of dollars to the Biden Crime Family .“The Big Guy” got 10 percent.

What is missing from the files to date is the role of the Intel community that lied to America and called the laptop Russian disinformation. What is also missing is the FBI; having the laptop in their possession ,slow walked the Hunter Biden investigation past the 2020 election and even past the 2022 .

These agencies of the government gave cover to the deep state selected candidate . Yes the deep state was involved . It selected Clueless Joe to be the Dem standard bearer after Bolshevik Bernie was winning all the early primaries . Then Rep of South Carolina James Clayborn spoke up for the deep state and gave the nod to Joe . It is no surprise that Joe is taking steps to ensure that states like Iowa and New Hampshire will no longer hold the early Dem primaries /caucus .

The compliant press ,especially taxpayer supported NPR also participated in the cover up with managing editor Terence Samuel saying “We don’t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don’t want to waste the listeners’ and readers’ time on stories that are just pure distractions”

A presidential election ongoing and the national public radio station did not want to "waste time" on a major story about one of the candidates . No collusion there </sarc>

The crackhead whore mongering son of the VP was doing very well for himself as he navigated the world of international business . Who was the bigger whoremonger ....Hunter or the 'Big Guy ' ?

    I am reopening discussion .

It was notable that what was missing from the initial release of the Twitter suppression of the Hunter Biden scandal was the role the FBI played in the suppression . They conta cted and pressured Big Tech platforms to censor the news on the grounds of what they knew was a lie ;that the laptop was the product of Russian disinformation.

The reason those exchanges were not in the release was because former FBI council James Baker ;who was a key player in the Russian collusion hoax and FBI coup attempt against Trump ,had been hired by the previous ownership of Twitter ..

He took it upon himself to "vet" the release without Musk knowing about it . NY Post New York Post's Miranda Devine who was the first to report on the laptop October 2020 noted the discrepancy. Musk determined that Baker's explanation for the coverup was unconvicing so he canned Baker .

Elon Musk on Twitter: "@mtaibbi In light of concerns about Baker’s possible role in suppression of information important to the public dialogue, he was exited from Twitter today" / Twitter

Reminder . Baker was part of Durham's indictment of Sussman . When Sussmann wanted to plant the bizarre false claim of secret communications between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin, Baker was his go to, speed dial contact. When Comey resigned from the FBI and Christopher Wray assumed directorship ,Baker was forced to resign from the FBI.

He was hired by Twitter . Quid Pro Joe's team reached out to suppress the story ;and Baker acting as a Twitter council was eager to comply .

When asked Twitter execs involved in internal content vetting if it was proper to suppress the story Baker replied “it’s reasonable for us to assume that they may have been [hacked] and that caution is warranted.”

He knew that was a lie . He had been at the FBI and knew that the FBI had already authenticated the laptop.

He also was hired by the Brookings Institution which also played a key role in the Russia collusion hoax.

At Twitter the FBI held weekly meetings warning them of an impending hack and dump effort by the Russians about Hunter Biden before the Post story . They had Baker on the inside at Twitter and when the Post story was published Baker was ready to pounce and suppress it .

The problem is that it is not shocking . EVERYONE knew the truth and were content with it . The only thing that mattered was to defeat Trump at all cost. That was true in 2016 ;2020 and 2022 , You watch . There will be hearings over all this stuff that will amount to nothing .

Yertle and his wife Elaine Chao dip their beaks in the same China trough as the Biden crime family . 2004 they had a fortune of about $3.1 million . Chao became Transportation Sec and the Yertl Senate confirmed her appointment .

Between then and now while both served the nation their wealth increased to the $30 million range (hard to tell exactly because Elaine's dad "gifted " Yertle about $25 million ) .

The Chao family has had close ties to Communist China through Foremost Group ,the shipping company that Elaine's father James formed in 1964 . He was a classmate of former Chinese Premier Jiang Zemin . Elaine was employed there in the 1970s .The company does a lot of business with state controlled China State Shipbuilding Corp. (CSSC),CSSC's main business is with the People's Liberation Navy ( PLN) .
Through family ties 2 top US officials (Senator and Transportation Sec) did business with the Chinese Navy .

Trump has accused Yertle of enriching himself through the China relationship . That partly explains the animosity between the 2.

The 'Twitter files 'as this doc dump has been called exposed the lengths the FBI went to suppress the laptop story prior to the 2020 election.

The FBI took possession of the laptop Dec 2019 . This was in connection with their investigation of Hunter's money laundering . The content of the laptop has been independently verified by 3 compliant press organizations ...the Slimes ;Compost ,and CBS News.

Rudy got his hands on a copy of the laptop content in the summer of 2020 . It was reasonable to assume that he would release the content to media outlets. So the FBI went to work.

They began warning big tech sites like Twitter and Fakebook to be aware of a possible Russian disinformation campaign around a "hack " involving propaganda information about Hunter .

The Quid Pro Joe machine went to work discrediting information about Hunter and the Biden crime family.

Oct 14 the NY Post publishes clear proof from the lap top to dispute claims by Quid that “I have never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings.”
Twitter and Fakebook limited distribution of the Post article on the grounds that it could be hacked material.]

Former FBI council and key player in the Russia hoax coup attempt against Trump;James Baker ;was embedded in Twitter as the company’s deputy general counsel advised Twitter personnel in charge of vetting that “it’s reasonable for us to assume that they may have been [hacked] and that caution is warranted.”
There can be little doubt that the compliant press got similar warnings from the FBI . They went into overtime in their efforts to suppress the story.

Congressional Dems who tried everything in their power to remove Trump from office like Adam Schiffhead taking their cue from the FBI narrative immediately called the laptop story Russian propaganda. Then the intel agencies got into the act calling the story Russian propaganda.

This was an orchestrated campaign of suppression of news that could've impacted the election.Quid used the letter generated by the intel people in his debate with Trump to end discussion of the issue during the debate.

We are to believe that Quid never spoke to Christopher Wray or Merrick Garland about the authenticity of the laptop or even asked Hunter if he indeed forgot to pick up his laptop from the repair shop or even if Hunter was aware if it was missing .

So how involved was the FBI in censorship by proxy ? According to the Twitter files they were 'partners ' in the effort.
    Quote:

Twitter's moderation decisions during this time period increasingly relied on input from the FBI and DHS. In internal Slack conversations, Twitter policy director Nick Pickles floated the idea of publicly admitting that the company's misinformation policies were partly based on feedback from experts in law enforcement; he eventually decided just to call them "partnerships."
Other Slack messages suggest that Roth met regularly, even weekly, with the FBI and DHS. The FBI also reported tweets for spreading election misinformation, sometimes prompting Twitter to take action.
Twitter Files: FBI, DHS Reported Tweets for Election Misinformation (reason.com)

This is a clever work-around for violating the 1st amendment that needs to be addressed .

This also begs the question about what role the government had in "partnership" with big tech to suppress opposition to draconian covid restrictions and covid related content that went contrary to the government approved narrative .

Just to make matters clear, the top liberal news organizations are completely silent about this issue. CNN makes no mention of it, but does find space to say, "There's a sense that Trump is approaching a moment of maximum legal peril." ABC news likewise does not mention it, but could mention a story about a Famed Hollywood mountain lion being captured after killing a dog. MSNBC does mention it, but only in a way that ends up being critical of, of course, Elon Musk.

The files released reveal that former CEO Jack Dorsey repeatedly lied under oath to Congress. Pa. Dem Rep Mike Doyle asked him "Social media is being rigged to censor conservatives. Is that true of Twitter?" He replied no . Doyle asked if Twitter was censoring people . Again Dorsey denied it .Twitter’s shadow-banning prominent Republicans… is that true?" Dorsey replied no. He was asked if Twitter was acting as a surrogate to the government to do what government cannot legally do itself . Again Dorsey denied it .

Jack Dorsey told Congress under oath Twitter was not shadow-banning (nypost.com)

Twitter referred to its shadowbanning as “Visibility Filtering,(VF) Where it would “block searches of individual users; to limit the scope of a particular tweet’s discoverability; to block select users’ posts from ever appearing on the ‘trending’ page, and from inclusion in hashtag searches"

Bari Weiss on Twitter: "9. “VF” refers to Twitter’s control over user visibility. It used VF to block searches of individual users; to limit the scope of a particular tweet’s discoverability; to block select users’ posts from ever appearing on the “trending” page; and from inclusion in hashtag searches." / Twitter

    Quote:

Our press would bring these stories to light if it could refute them, but it can’t so it ignores them. And no, Twitter and Substack aren’t a substitute for institutions that can deploy teams of reporters and substantial resources to investigations.
The point has long since stopped being whose ox is gored, Mr. Trump’s or Mr. Biden’s. American voters whatever their sympathies don’t want their government and media lying to them to shape their political choices. (Put aside lying in a way that falsely incriminates a nuclear-armed hostile power as trying to fix a U.S. election on behalf of one of the candidates—an element of this episode that none want to confront. )
The election is over; the truth is kept from you now to protect the guilty, not to save the country from the supposed menace of Trumpism. In a different universe far, far away—that is, America pre-Donald Trump—a conscientious press would be reporting the hell out of all this.

Adam Schiffhead and Rep Takano wrote a letter to Musk demanding that he censor what they call 'hate speech' This they sent on official Congressional letter head

    Letter to Twitter 12/8/22 (house.gov)

Musk countered that there is no increase in so called hate speech since he assumed control .

Elon Musk on Twitter: "@RepAdamSchiff @RepMarkTakano False, hate speech impressions are actually down by 1/3 for Twitter now vs prior to acquisition @CommunityNotes" / Twitter

What he could've mentioned was that the very purpose of the 1st Amendment was specifically to prevent Congress from regulating speech. This is a clear case of a work around by Congress to violate the Bill of Rights. This will be followed by "jawboning" ;implying punitive action if Musk does not toe the line.

The letter is posted below. Big question for me is, how is it any of their business?

    Quote:

    Dear Mr. Musk:
As Members of Congress, we are deeply concerned about the recent rise in hate speech on Twitter. Analysis by independent researchers indicates Twitter has become an increasingly toxic place for our constituents, and we are reaching out to you to understand the actions Twitter is taking to combat this increase in harmful content.
Although you tweeted that one of your goals as Chief Executive Officer of Twitter was strong content moderation on the platform, the results of your leadership have been the opposite. Multiple reports have shown that since you became CEO in late October, hate speech has dramatically increased on Twitter. Under your leadership, there has been an extreme spike in the number of tweets that include slurs, the level of engagement with these tweets, and the popularity of spreading this harmful rhetoric.
According to the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), the number of tweets containing slurs has grown since you have become CEO compared to the 2022 average. Slurs against Black people have tripled in daily mentions. Slurs against women have increased 33 percent from the 2022 average mentions, and slurs against gay men have increased by 58 percent. Before you assumed the role of CEO, engagement with these tweets averaged 13.3 replies, retweets, or likes. Now, engagement with slurs has increased 273 percent, with the average number of replies, retweets, or likes averaging 49.5 on tweets containing hate speech.
Of particular concern to us is the rise in anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric on Twitter under your supervision. Based on data analysis, anti-LGBTQ+ extremists are picking up followers at quadruple the pace since the change in leadership.5 With increased followers, these actors are seeing wider circulation of their hateful tweets on the platform, which we fear might spark even more real-world violence against the LGBTQ+ community.
After the Colorado Springs Shooting, in which the LGBTQ+ community was specifically targeted, we saw anti-LGBTQ+ hate become viral on Twitter. Research found that tweets from prominent extremists have been “viewed tens of millions of times in the wake of the Colorado Springs Shooting” and that just 20 of the most prominent hateful tweets “can be estimated to have picked up a total of 35 million views.” You tweeted that the “New Twitter policy is freedom of speech, but not freedom of reach. Negative/hate tweets will be max deboosted & demonetized” but we have yet to see any evidence of follow-through on Twitter.
We have also seen a significant increase in antisemitism on the platform. The Anti-Defamation League recently found that there was a “61.3% increase in the volume of tweets (excluding retweets) referencing ‘Jews’ or ‘Judaism’ with an antisemitic sentiment” since you became CEO. Simultaneously, Twitter has decreased its content moderation, as researchers found that Twitter went from “taking action on 60% of antisemitic tweets to taking action on only 30%.” We are glad to see you have suspended Ye’s account following his antisemitic posts, but this step must be paired with further decisive and preventative action from your platform.
We find the rise of extremist actors and hate speech on Twitter demonstrably at odds with your company’s statement that human safety is a “top priority”. And despite your assertion that there has been a decline in “hate speech impressions” from the “pre-spike levels,” you have not provided data showing how you are measuring hate speech that would allow outside researchers to validate your assessment. In direct contrast, CCDH’s social media analytic tools found that the number of tweets containing slurs and engagements are still above the average 2022 levels. It appears that a byproduct of your company’s “embracing public testing” approach is harm to your users.
With rapidly changing and unclear policies on content moderation on Twitter, amid documented negative trends and public evidence, we are concerned about the individual and community harm arising from Twitter, including how that could spill from online into real life. We are seeking further information about your plans for content moderation and the capability of your workforce to implement and enforce your policies.
As part of our ongoing oversight efforts, we request answers to the following questions, as well as a briefing to discuss other areas of oversight:

    • What steps is your company taking in response to the recent rise in hate speech on your platform and how do you plan to make these decisions available to the public? Additionally, what is your timeline for rolling out any of these changes?
    • Your company has stated that human safety is a priority, but anti-LGBTQ rhetoric has increased since the Colorado Springs Shooting. We have also seen a distinct rise in antisemitism on the platform. What is Twitter’s plan to increase safety for its users, and more specifically the LGBTQ+ community and the Jewish community?
    • What is the current process for enforcing content moderation on your platform? How do you plan to make these processes transparent and available to the public and researchers?
    • With the recent drastic reduction in the number of Twitter employees, including specialist content moderators, engineers, and safety team members, what is your company’s current capability and capacity to handle the risks arising from the extreme rise in hate speech, hate actors and the growth of hate communities? What is the current risk-assessment process and response timeline for viral hate speech and disinformation?

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

    Sincerely,
    Adam Schiff
    Mark Takano
Note that there is no concern expressed about Twitter's involvement with the FBI in slanting the information put out prior to the 2020 election, thus confirming yet again that disinformation is only a concern when it seems to damage liberals.

There is a clear implied threat if he does not take action they approve of. I did not see them say pretty please do this .They demand to know what he will do as a remedy to what they perceive is hate speech on Twitter and how soon will it take.

They are doing so as Congressional Reps ,The Constitution is clear The 1st amendment prohibits Congress from abridging the freedom of speech,

They are doing so by pressuring Musk to bow to their will.

latest instalment of the files reveals that Twitter was essentially an FBI PAID informant and collaborator . The FBI paid the company $3.4 million taxpayer monopoly bucks to do their bidding . It also reveals that besides James Baker ,other former FBI staff rotated into the ranks of the Twitter organization,

"In 2019 SCALE instituted a reimbursement program for our legal process response from the FBI," "Prior to the start of the program, Twitter chose not to collect under this statutory right of reimbursement for the time spent processing requests from the FBI."

SCALE is Twitter's 'Safety, Content, & Law Enforcement' team.
Michael Shellenberger on Twitter: "46. The FBI’s influence campaign may have been helped by the fact that it was paying Twitter millions of dollars for its staff time. “I am happy to report we have collected $3,415,323 since October 2019!” reports an associate of Jim Baker in early 2021. https://t.co/SmNse97QxK" / Twitter

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/FkXH0RBV...png&name=smallTwitter’s Trust and Safety team was lead by Yoel Roth who led the company censor campaign.

Among some of the key Twitter employers who were former FBI was Kevin Michelena who did more than 12 years as an FBI intelligence analyst before coming to Twitter to work as a “Senior Corporate Security Analyst” in July 2021. Michael Bertrand spent 23 years with the FBI working in counterterrorism, internal investigations and as chief of staff to the agency’s top leaders before he joined Twitter. Karen Walsh spent more than 20 years at the FBI as a special agent focused on “Public-Private Sector Outreach.”She was hired by Twitter as director of corporate resilience .Doug Hunt was hired as a senior director at Twitter after spending 20 years at FBI . Vincent Lucero was hired as “Senior Security Manager.”after a 2 decade stint at the agency. Mark Jeroszewski went from a supervisory agent to Twitter's director of corporate security .

Michael Shellenberger on Twitter: "29. As of 2020, there were so many former FBI employees — "Bu alumni" — working at Twitter that they had created their own private Slack channel and a crib sheet to onboard new FBI arrivals. https://t.co/prVhPGohOC" / Twitter

Was Twitter a one off or did the agency also influence other media ?

The NY Posts reports that this was a coordinated effort by the FBI and other major media . They all met in September 2020 at the Aspen Institute(essentially a left wing sponsored think tank ;although they claim to be centrist ) to war game the release of Hunter Biden related news .

What is mysterious Aspen Institute and why did it hold Hunter Biden 'exercise'? (nypost.com)

    Quote:

In a series of tweets Monday, independent journalist Michael Shellenberger posted confidential documents from the Aspen Institute’s September 2020 event, which he said was attended by Twitter’s then-head of trust and safety, Facebook’s head of security policy and top national security reporters from The New York Times and The Washington Post. The exercise by the “Aspen Digital Hack-and-Dump Working Group” involved an 11-day scenario in October 2020 that began with the imaginary release of falsified records related to Hunter Biden’s controversial employment by the Ukrainian energy company Burisma, which paid him as much as $1 million a year to serve on its board when his father was vice president.
“The goal was to shape how the media covered it — and how social media carried it,” Shellenberger wrote.
But the drill was put into practical use weeks later, when The Post broke the news about Hunter Biden’s infamous laptop — which was either ignored or downplayed by most mainstream news outlets and suppressed by both Twitter and Facebook

The exercise was organized by Vivian Schiller, a former top executive at National Public Radio, Twitter, The New York Times and NBC News, Shellenberger reported.

The tentacles of the abuse of power reached much farther than initially thought.

    Quote:

Substack writer Matt Taibbi released the latest installment of the "Twitter Files" on Christmas Eve, detailing that coordination between the tech giant and government agencies went way beyond the FBI. In a massive series of tweets, Taibbi insisted that the FBI was simply the "doorman to a vast program of social media surveillance and censorship, encompassing agencies across the federal government – from the State Department to the Pentagon to the CIA."
The journalist explained that Twitter had so many interactions with OGAs (or "other government agencies" as they are called in the tweets), the company couldn’t keep them all straight: He explained, "Twitter had so much contact with so many agencies that executives lost track. Is today the DOD, and tomorrow the FBI? Is it the weekly call, or the monthly meeting? It was dizzying."
This should concern every freedom respecting American. Sadly, it will not.

we live in a post constitutional country . The very things the Framers sought to construct safeguards against have eroded . As predicted the people prefer autocracy and plutocracy .

It seems to be the case. A government that takes care of us is preferred over a government that preserves freedom.

When Saul of Tarsus set out on his journey to Damascus the whole of the known world lay in bondage. There was one state, and it was Rome. There was one master for it all, and he was Tiberius Caesar.
Everywhere there was civil order, for the arm of the Roman law was long. Everywhere there was stability, in government and in society, for the centurions saw that it was so.
But everywhere there was something else, too. There was oppression—for those who were not the friends of Tiberius Caesar. There was the tax gatherer to take the grain from the fields and the flax from the spindle to feed the legions or to fill the hungry treasury from which divine Caesar gave largess to the people. There was the impressor to find recruits for the circuses. There were executioners to quiet those whom the Emperor proscribed. What was a man for but to serve Caesar?
There was the persecution of men who dared think differently, who heard strange voices or read strange manuscripts. There was enslavement of men whose tribes came not from Rome, disdain for those who did not have the familiar visage. And most of all, there was everywhere a contempt for human life. What, to the strong, was one man more or less in a crowded world?

Then, of a sudden, there was a light in the world, and a man from Galilee saying, Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s and unto God the things that are God’s.
And the voice from Galilee, which would defy Caesar, offered a new Kingdom in which each man could walk upright and bow to none but his God. Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. And he sent this gospel of the Kingdom of Man into the uttermost ends of the earth.
So the light came into the world and the men who lived in darkness were afraid, and they tried to lower a curtain so that man would still believe salvation lay with the leaders.
But it came to pass for a while in divers places that the truth did set man free, although the men of darkness were offended and they tried to put out the light. The voice said, Haste ye. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness come upon you, for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
Along the road to Damascus the light shone brightly. But afterward Paul of Tarsus, too, was sore afraid. He feared that other Caesars, other prophets, might one day persuade men that man was nothing save a servant unto them, that men might yield up their birthright from God for pottage and walk no more in freedom.
Then might it come to pass that darkness would settle again over the lands and there would be a burning of books and men would think only of what they should eat and what they should wear, and would give heed only to new Caesars and to false prophets. Then might it come to pass that men would not look upward to see even a winter’s star in the East, and once more, there would be no light at all in the darkness.
And so Paul, the apostle of the Son of Man, spoke to his brethren, the Galatians, the words he would have us remember afterward in each of the years of his Lord:
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ has made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Well said. As Christians, our first allegiance is to Christ and not to government. Our first dependence is on God and not the state. Our primary moral responsibility is to His Word and not the renderings of man. Those who disagree often are not content to simply tell us to go our way while they go theirs. They want conformity, and that's where the confrontations occur.

Hope everyone has a great Christmas.

    excellent reply .

Matt Taibbi ; Lee Fang, and Michael Shellenberger have been the trio pouring over the Twitter files and releasing them . Taibbi wrote this in a year end message to his readers . He says further revelations will show that it is not just Twitter and the FBI . There is an unholy alliance between most of the major big tech companies and the whole alphabet soup leviathan .
Facebook is riddled with ex-CIA agents while many ex-FBI agents work at Twitter | Daily Mail Online

He says some of it is coercion. But the major players were content with the arrangement .
    He writes
Sometime in the last decade, many people — I was one — began to feel robbed of their sense of normalcy by something we couldn’t define. Increasingly glued to our phones, we saw that the version of the world that was spat out at us from them seemed distorted. The public’s reactions to various news events seemed off-kilter, being either way too intense, not intense enough, or simply unbelievable. You’d read that seemingly everyone in the world was in agreement that a certain thing was true, except it seemed ridiculous to you, which put you in an awkward place with friends, family, others. Should you say something? Are you the crazy one?I can’t have been the only person to have struggled psychologically during this time. This is why these Twitter files have been such a balm. This is the reality they stole from us! It’s repulsive, horrifying, and dystopian, a gruesome history of a world run by anti-people, but I’ll take it any day over the vile and insulting facsimile of truth they’ve been selling. It will all be largely swept under the rug by the left-wing media. Fox and a few others will give it the attention it deserves, but as can be seen by the awkward silence of the three or four liberals on this site, we are now at a place where any and all government offenses are acceptable so long as it works against Trump.

Twitter files new topic is their suppression of any information about covid that went counter to the approved narrative . Musk revealed yesterday that internally Twitter employeess had a slack channel called 'Fauci Fan Club' .

Musk also commented that Almost no one seems to realize that the head of bioethics at NIH – the person who is supposed to make sure that Fauci behaves ethically – is his wife

    That would be Christine Grady

No conflict of interests there .

Even for the current administration, that is pretty wild.

What is sadly remarkable in this case is that it's clear the FBI, along with other agencies, actively and clandestinely worked behind the scenes to secure Trump's defeat in 2020, and yet nothing will be done about it. There is no national furor, and no one will be held accountable.

Judicial Watch has filed a FOIA lawsuit to obtain information about Grady's work and her potential involvement in censorship of pandemic information

NIH has been hiding Ms. Grady’s emails for almost a year in violation of FOIA law. This is the very definition of a cover-up. The unlawful cover-ups of Fauci family government records strongly suggest that there is something to hide.
