    Yes... its sad...

My prayers are with his family and children.

I may not have always agreed with michael jackson, nor aproved of his life choices or decisions... but it's a sad thing to die... and no one deserves to die like that... not at 50...

As of right now I'm not seeing on a legit site that confirms he is dead. Only on TMZ, which is a gossip site. But there is word that he is in a coma.

    Good point NM.

My local news site (azfamily.com) has a story on him going into cardiac arrest and being rushed to the hopsital. But no updates yet.

I grew up in the 80s and I still remember watching videos like "Bad", "Billie Jean" and of course "Thriller". What a shock, I didn't even know he was having health problems.

What's really annoying is that each news channel/article keeps referring to the molestation charges. The man's dead, and he was found innocent, they shouldn't keep bringing that up

I kind of liked Thriller, although Im more of a Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne kind of person.
Although I do admit, he changed the world and music industry. It's still sad, though, and one of my closet friend's was a fan of his.

He is true legend and he will never be forgotten. This saddens me so much I grew up listening to him and I always loved his music, I can't believe he's gone. He was a good hearted person, a loving father and the best entertainer ever. We will miss you Michael, Rest in Peace<3

The saddest thing about Michael was how the fame affected him.
We know that he had many personal issues and I can't even begin to imagine what his life was like to cause him to behave the way he did.
That said, he was an incredible artist, that has left a huge mark on the world.
In my opinion he has contributed all he had to the world that he could.
I fear he had fallen too far from reality.
I mourn his untimely death, but know that every life serves a purpose.
    I pray for his children.

The Way You Make Me Feel is probably my favorite. I've already offered my condolences yesterday so on to the next step, why? It appears possibly to be drug-related according to the family spokesman:

    Quote:

Brian Oxman told reporters: "I have been very critical of the use of pain medications.

"I have told people in no uncertain terms that if Michael one day woke up and he was dead I would not be silent, I would not permit this to go unchallenged."
I wouldn't be silent either if someone woke up and they were dead but that's another story. What an enormous talent, big as Elvis if you ask me... and just as tragic a life.

His music to me never will get old, I still hear songs and get emotional

I hope the new and old artist will keep his music alive, because some of the music out nowadays, is Garbage.

MUCH of the music today is garbage. Geez, I sound like my parents. Personally I wish more black artists would avoid the hip-hop route and do some real, funky, rockin', bluesy, jazzy, soulful stuff like the greats of the Jacksons' era.

    .

His music is the soundtrack of my childhood. Every song brings back memories.

I saw him in concert at Madison Square Garden in 2001 - which turned out to be his final concert. His talent was unbelievable. Non stop dancing, no lip syncing. He came alive on the stage like no one else I have ever seen.

    Very sad.

When you see him as a young boy singing ABC and then see what he turned into in terms of what fame and fotune did to him, you can't help but consider this a shame.

When I was a kid my mom told me she was going to my aunts house for the night. SHE LIED SHE WENT TO THE VICTORY TOUR WITH OUT ME!! I have never forgiving her for that. I love all Michael Jackson songs but Rock with you is my all time favorite. You should have seen my wife's reaction one day when she came in the house and I had the surround sound cranked all the way up singing Rock with you. She didn't know I liked him that much.

    RIP MJ
