We had rapid reaction troops in Sicily, Italy since Regan was in office because of Daffy Duck... they were a LOT closer than Washinton, DC is to New York. And they were told to stand down.
Nothing would've saved the Ambassador except proper security before the attack. 9 hrs later when the attack was still ongoing ? It is indisputable that we had assests in place to get there by then. General Hamm was told to stand down. At least 2 people and unknown injured could've been saved... and the grounds would've been secured for whoever was going to investigate the incident .Quote:
