I can agree that the political class has stolen a lot of loot, but now they want to steal the benefits of being an American, and that crosses a line, since it's our money they are stealing when we need it the most. Maybe the thing to do is start penalizing American companies who abuse workers, instead of rewarding them. Our government has nothing to do with hiring, firing, benefits, wages or pensions in the private sector, and that's part of the problem, as we have allowed the private sector to buy our elected officials, and work against the citizen who put them in office.
