It's official, winter has arrived in Alaska. Termination Dust hit Goat Mountain on Sept 13. Sorry I was a bit late, but school is overwhelming right now.

ROAD TRIP!!

Pink Flamingo? Eagle River Club? Apparently I spent too much time at 'Coots and/or the Bird House.

Coots was good, the bird house, wasn't old enough and when I was a couple years it burnt down. Dang it!
Cap'n... A road trip sounds perfect, and believe me it wouldn't take much coaxing to get J and I there... Well, at least me... I shouldn't speak for J... but I would like her to come!

Oh, yeah, and all that is legal in AK, stays in AK. LMAO.

I won't even begin to tell you what I did going down Turnigan Arm at 60 miles an hour in a 4x4 on the way to Beluga Point during the Aurora.

I am so jealous of that.. no snow or even real change of seasons in Florida... I know that Alaska is just breathtakingly beautiful. Palm trees get really boring after awhile! I will get there one day! Even if it is just to hang out with the polar bears and the penguins.

You don't want to hang out with polar bears, or penguins.

How about Grizzly's and puffins.

That is just my cup o TEA!

These pictures remind me of a book I read about a cop who moves to Alaska... it is exactly how he describes it, in each season. JUST gorgeous!

I so envy you guys being able to see all this... for real.

I just feel so serene when I look at the pictures, I can't imagine how peaceful it is to actually BE there!

You have to go to the right places... to feel thlike the pictures I mean... Sure is a pretty place... I have to say I have seen more beuty in Oregon though. The coast is amazing and the outdoors... OMgoodness...
