You just can't make this stuff up. The most transparent administration ever is planning a meeting with the media as part of Eric Holder's charm offensive - off the record of course.
Surprisingly the NY Times said no deal.
Holder's days as AG are numbered . He was caught in an outright like under oath. He is guilty of a minimum misleading Congress under oath.
You have been saying that for 5 years too. You guys have been saying a lot of things for 5 years none of which has born fruit but you just keep planting hoping it grows.
I expect he'll resign . If not he will be charged with pergury ;[“In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material — this is not something I've ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy,”]
That will be added to his already being charged with a contempt of Congress from his refusal to cooperate in the Fast and Furious investigation.
What a legacy ! A criminal in charge of the Justice Dept. No wonder he's beginning to feel “a creeping sense of personal remorse” .
First it was Obama the Messiah, now it's Moses.

MARTIN BASHIR: Professor, we heard Mr. Sensenbrenner say the attorney general should stop down. Congressman Bob Goodlatte is also calling for resignation. Of course, he did that two years ago over fast and furious. Is this actually going to lead to something, do you think, or more of the same, more continuous calls for the attorney general to step down?
MICHAEL ERIC DYSON: I think the attorney general should step down to off that plateau where he resides on high principle and whip some head. But he shouldn’t give up his office. What he should understand is that he is the chief law giver of the United States so to speak. He’s the Moses of our time and at least for this administration. [... ]

Eric Holder held his off the record presser today . Most news organizations boycotted... but not the Washington Compost.
They have an account of the meeting that could've been an Onion parody .
Attorney General Holder says he’ll protect journalists’ rights - The Washington PostQuote:
Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. pledged Thursday to take concrete steps to address concerns that the Justice Department has overreached in its leak investigations and said officials would seek procedural and possibly legislative changes to protect journalists' First Amendment rights.
Holder's commitment came at a private meeting with news executives after criticism that the Justice Department had infringed on the news media in several high-profile leak investigations. Participants said he told them officials would revise guidelines for issuing subpoenas to obtain reporters' phone records.
The 90-minute meeting was attended by a small group of journalists after several news organizations objected to the Justice Department's insistence that it be held off the record. The participants, however, reached an agreement with the Justice Department under which they could describe what occurred during the meeting in general terms. The Justice Department is expected to meet with other news organizations and media lawyers in coming days.
Holder and aides “completely endorsed the president's statement that reporters should not be at legal risk for doing their job,” said Martin Baron, The Washington Post's executive editor, who was among the participants. “They acknowledged the need for changes in their own guidelines and the need to have a more rigorous internal review.”
A Justice Department spokeswoman declined to comment.
Lol... in other words they are allowed to report what the Justice Dept permits them to report.
