I linked to the most recent banning of Mockingbird which was within the month . It was a district in Seattle . It had nothing to do with the stereotype of what the south was in 1996 .Quote:

you reference 2004 banned books list . I was referencing the banning of Mockingbird by a liberal district in this school year .

Banned and challenged for racial slurs and their negative effect on students, featuring a “white savior” character, and its perception of the Black experience.
There is a vast difference between removing a book from a required reading list versus “banning” it.
