You can't make it up. Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt went on CNN with host Kasie Hunt to note how unfair CNNs coverage of Trump has been historically ;especially debate moderators Jake Tapper and Dana Bash .
Hunt made the case for Leavitt when she cut her off and abruptly ended the interview.

Can't possibly figure what her complaint about Tapper would be.

Dr Ron Jackson was WH physician for GW Bush ;the emperor ;and Trump. He came out in favor of drugs tests for Joe ;before and after the debate .
Clueless Joe is clearly jacked up and doped before public appearances.
He sent the letter to WH physician Kevin O'Connor ;and CC'd the cabinet and Kam the Sham.

Former White House physician demands drug, cognitive test from Biden | Fox News Video
Quote:
But I'm going to be demanding on behalf of many millions of concerned Americans right now that he submit to a drug test before and after this debate, specifically looking for performance-enhancing drugs, because we see -- we have seen recently in his State of the Union address that there was a Joe Biden that came out that was not similar at all to what we see on a day-to-day basis for the last 3.5 years.
And there's just really no way to explain that, other than he was on something, that they'd given him medications. I feel like this is probably what's going on over this week at Camp David. He's going to be at Camp David for a full week before the debate. Part of that is probably experimenting with just getting the doses just right, because they have to treat his cognition.
They have to give him something to help him think straighter. They have to give him something to wake him up to -- for his alertness. And then he's been agitated. We see that all the time. And that's a common -- that's a common symptom or sign of this cognitive disorder that he seems to be suffering from.
And so they're probably going to give him something to take the edge off that as well. They didn't get it right just last time at the State of the Union. He came out. He was obviously much more alert, but he was a yelling, angry old man. And he still didn't make a lot of sense.
So I think they have got an uphill battle here, but I think that they're going to have to do something to try to wake him up and make him perform a little better during the debate. And I don't think that that's what the American people want out of their president. I think they want somebody that can do this on their own.

Hillary Clinton: I’ve Debated Trump and Biden. Here’s What I’m Watching For. – DNyuz
Having lost debates to both she brings an certain expertise to the table.
In the meantime, in the interests of proving that he seem incapable of learning from his past failures, Trump seems to be doing but very little in the way of preparation. He has been given some great advice, but will he accept it? Doubtful.
The only person who can defeat Trump in this election is...Trump.Quote:

Donald Trump told Newsmax on Tuesday night he doesn't need to lock himself in a room with advisers to prepare for Thursday night's huge debate with President Joe Biden, the first presidential debate this election cycle and the earliest in U.S. history."I've been preparing for it for my whole life, if you want to know the truth," Trump told "Prime News" and guest host Corey Lewandowski. "And I'm not sure you can lock yourself in a room for two weeks, or one week, or two days, and really learn what you have to know.
I hear Joe's team made a mock stage /studio set and he has 18 people coaching him. No doubt CNN has already provided him with the questions they will ask.
to Trump " do you still think the election was stolen ? Will you leave office if elected or declare yourself dictator as DeNiro claimed ?
to Joe "what is your favorite flavor of ice cream "?
So what will Joe say when the question about 51 FORMER Intel officials claiming that Hunter's laptop news was Russian propaganda ;in light of the new reports that several of those intel guys were contractors for the CIA at the time of the letter ?
Two Biden laptop letter signers were CIA contractors, agency brass knew of effort | Just The News
If Trump was smart enough to believe in preparation, he would raise the issue himself. Sadly, I don't expect that to happen. But the softball questions to Biden from CNN can certainly be expected, as can the hardball questions for Trump. And again, if he would prepare and be ready for that, then he could turn it to his advantage.Quote:

As do I. I can't imagine the circumstances under which I would vote for Biden. But as I have tried (without success) to point out to my FB friends, it's the middle third that Trump needs to win over, and he cannot be the same ole same ole and do that as well as he should. I think he will win this election, but considering who he's running against, it won't be much to crow about. It will be on the same level as the Green Bay Packers beating a high school team.Quote:

The whole night I kept asking myself ;'how would've Ron DeSantis answered that question '?
The President's poor showing only masks how lame Trump was .
As for the substance ;I could spend hours disputing the things both candidates said.
I'll do one that I thought was a blatant lie that Joe kept repeating.
He got a hat tip from Tapper who cited a study from 'Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget ' that said that Trump approved $8.4 trillion of new borrowing, while Joe added only $4.3 trillion.
Trump and Biden: Tax and Spending Changes-2024-06-27 (crfb.org)
Allysia Finley of the WSJ editorial board gives the relevant reply since Trump's answers were unclear .
Who Won the Trump-Biden Debate? - WSJQuote:
The study inflates the cost of Mr. Trump’s tax cuts—including bipartisan efforts that repealed the Affordable Care Act’s medical device and Cadillac insurance taxes—while low-balling the costs of Mr. Biden’s spending increases and regulations. For example, the study dings Mr. Trump for adding to the debt by ending certain Affordable Care Act cost subsidies, which it says caused insurers to raise premiums and thereby increased other insurance subsidies.
The outfit says Mr. Trump added to the deficit with a 2020 rule that restricted drug-maker rebates in Medicare, though that rule never took effect. Then the study claims that Mr. Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act reduced the national debt by delaying the same rebate rule and increasing IRS funding.
All of which is to say that the figures cited by Mr. Tapper include subjective judgments that are biased in favor of Mr. Biden. But for the record, the national debt increased by $2.6 trillion during Mr. Trump’s first three years before Covid and $5.2 trillion during Mr. Biden’s first three.
The claims are further debunked by the Congressional Budget Committee.
FACT CHECK ALERT: Debunking CRFB’s Analysis of Trump and Biden Impacts on the National Debt | The U.S. House Committee on the Budget - House Budget Committee
Let's face facts . Even given for spending related to the pandemic ; both increased the debt to unacceptable levels . Both believe in big government spending. The difference is a matter of degrees and for what purpose.
Wife and I could only bring ourselves to watch about twenty minutes of the "debate". It was like watching two middle schoolers going at it about which of them looked better. I actually thought Biden did a little better than I expected, but he did look old and feeble. Trump was the usual collection of rants and ravings which had very little appearance of being well thought-out replies. I kept waiting for him (either of them, really) to lay out a vision of a better America. Neither did so.Quote:

Biden doubles down on need for fair tax system during closing statement of presidential debate - YouTube
I'm always amused by these calls for a fair tax system. As I've shown here many times, the wealthy already basically pay 80% or so of income taxes. They pay practically all of inheritance taxes. The bottom half of income earners pay next to nothing in income tax, so how much fairer do they want it to be? It is nothing more than a liberal talking point based on an outright lie.
How happy should we be that the feds supposedly reduced the debt by 160 bil over ten years? That amounts to about 1/2 of 1% of the total, and does not take into account the trillions of dollars they have added to the debt. Pols have clearly concluded that the American people are too stupid to see through this. Maybe they're right.
It now seems likely that Biden will do one of two things. He will pull out of the race and allow Michelle, Newsome, Hillary, or whoever to step in. He might also get Harris to step aside, put in one of the above as VP, and then offer up the likelihood that he would resign at some point in 2025.
and the award for the most balanced coverage of the debate goes to ....................

For a week prior to the debate the WH and the compliant press told us 'don't believe your lying eyes ;everything said about Joe is deep fake or cheap fake ". Then Joe got on the debate stage and proved everything said about him was true.
I'm guessing they learned their lesson because I hear no such accusations of that kind about his orange spray tan ..............except here .
Not to worry ;I'm sure by the time the ABC makeup crew is done with him he will look as healthy and vigorous as JFK playing football on the WH lawn. (although it has since been revealed that those select videos were the deep fake of their day since we now know they kept JFK together with a cocktail of drugs and duct tape)
Maybe CNN did a deep fake when they posted Joe's response to the SCOTUS immunity decision (where he repeated lies about the ruling ) Did they use "cwayons " too ? Or maybe they did their best to hide the worse effects of the spray tan ?

Now the family claims that he went into the debate with a summer tan and that his cadaver look during the debate was the deep fake .
Lying has gone from being a somewhat common practice to being the order of the day. It's all the result of a national media that has become far more interested in political and social change than in printing the truth.
ABC News just gave a teaser of the interview. If that is the best Joe can do he's got problems. Evidently it airs tonight as well as Sunday.
Here is the text as I recall it . I can't find the video of the brief teaser
George "Did you ever watch the debate afterwards?"
Joe "I don't think I did." (an exact quote ) George "Did you know how badly it was going?"
Joe ....incoherent mumbo jumbo .
He said when asked why he was tired after a week's rest before the debate he claimed his cold was really bad and he thought he had covid
One more issue from the debate. Biden claimed the organization representing the border patrol agents had endorsed him. That group came out after the debate and said they have never endorsed Biden and never will. So that was either a ridiculous lie or, more likely, Biden just losing his train of thought and becoming completely confused.
I hope you can see what you've just done. By making the assumption that 81 year old people don't have good comprehension, you have validated the idea that Biden should not be reelected. Thank you!Quote:
We will check on your comprehension when you're almost 82.
I agree Biden is too old, especially to survive for four more years. I'm praying a much younger, inspirational, vibrant Dem possibility will emerge. There are several waiting in the wings. And yes, I have been a Repub all my life...until tRump blustered his way into the spotlight. I'm wondering how much longer HE will survive, either physically or mentally (note: he's definitely declining too with his incoherent ramblings and nonsensical sentence structure).
From this morning's Chicago Tribune: "One of America’s political parties has a presidential candidate who is really old and showing it. The other has a presidential candidate who is a convicted felon, adjudicated sexual abuser, business fraudster, and self-described aspiring dictator for a day. And is also really old."
I'm sure you have been a registered repub, just as I'm sure you have consistently voted democrat.Quote:
And yes, I have been a Repub all my life.
...Only by a deluded DA. I doubt that this miscarriage of justice will stand up tp appeal.Quote:

Civll trial, not a criminal trial, which probably indicates a lot. And unless you can say that you refused to vote for Bill Clinton, who is the king of sex offenders, then you won't be persuasive by appealing to this.Quote:
adjudicated sexual abuser,
How's that?Quote:
business fraudster,
A completely stupid accusation by a rag looking for a headline.Quote:
and self-described aspiring dictator for a day
Now if they are wanting to suggest that Trump has an undisciplined big mouth, and frequently makes exaggerated comments that are ridiculous nonsense, then I'm with them on that.
