They said that about the birth certificate, and Trump ate crow while HE hunted down OBL.

    That was pretty smart.

It was faked... how hard it it to fake a document, and hid it through a low quality photo...

If it was real he wouldn't have spent 2 million dollars fighting releasing it...

SO where are his college transcripts anyway? Why are they such great national secrets Wikileaks couldn't even get them?

It doesn't take any intelligence... all you need is money to pay someone to hide stuff or fight attempts to release it for you.

Please let this birther stuff drop already . It never was a legit issue and the more it is forwarded the more ridiculous it sounds.
There is a wealth of real reasons to kick the President out . Let's field a candidate that can address that .

Something better than 10 million dollars stuffed away in banks. What he ever did to earn that is a mystery for the ages however.

Unfortunately for you it's what the right wingers believe.

    P.S: it's spelled "ridiculous".

Just like Obamacare is... ridiculous that anyone thinks it would work or is even wanted by most people since the polls prove it isn't.

Yet tom and I have both been refuting the birther crap for a long time, ever since it began with the anti-McCain birthers. Left-wingers believed Bush was installing a theocracy. A couple of prominent libs went public with a widely held belief that Bush was going to cancel the 2008 election. This summer the media played along with the ridiculous notion that certain Republicans were "Dominionists." So for every silly conspiracy you find on the right I'm sure I can find 3 on the left.

That's the problem with assigning one person's belief to a whole grouip - it makes your next argument less beliveable due to the broad generalization that you've already erroneously assigned. I did it as a parody, I don't really believe that's what all right-wingers think, just a few who have let the dogma take over their independent reasoning.

We want you to look as good as you sound. I can quietly correct them now as the Head Content Manager. ;).

Of course, I can correct NK too for typos/errors. :D

If you can find them you can fix them. :-) I am admittedly a crappy typist. [I added no commas in those previous sentences due to extreme fear.]

Maybe I should edit the current events threads today and see if anyone notices. Naaaaaaaaaah, typos show passion.

Welll... that's time I'll never get back . As flawed as my spelling and construct might be... what I do here is authentic unedited commentary on the events of the day. I would think that this board could be an asset to the site if properly marketted . I can name a few opinion sites on the net that do very well... and mind you ;those sites generally don't offer a diverse opinion base.

I've visited some of those sites and become a member of others. You're right. This site beats them all. And your writing makes you who you are and gives your writing value and authenticity -- and I won't mess with that.

Leo Panetta... too stupid to be Sec Defense ?
    Quote:

"we face the threats from rising powers - China, India, others - that we have to always be aware of and try to make sure that we always have sufficient force protection out there in the Pacific to make sure they know we're never going anywhere."

US defence secretary Leon Panetta goofs up, says India is an 'emerging threat' - The Times of India

Between him thinking that India is a threat to us and the President thinking Hawaii is in Asia(as opposed to being one of the 57 states )... Herman Cain appears to be in good company.

He's toast . I can't support someone as unsure about the foreign policy issues as he is . It's not that he doesn't know all the details... no one does . It's just that he needs enough rudimentary understanding of the issues that he can make decisions that are counter to the best advice of his advisors .

Anyone who knows the issues in the Cuban Missiles crisis realizes that Kennedy had to stand firm against the best advice of his experts .

    Hello tom:

I thought you'd be able to tell the difference between a mistake and true ignorance... No, huh? That ain't good. Was it ignorance, or was it a pause?

I've never related it to him referring to the OIC. I just made fun of him for not knowing off the top of his head how many states we have.

And Panetta identified India as a threat only once too .

I actually give him a pass on it because he was attempting to defend the miitary budget.
