There is no end to the lying. It was comically ironic to read of Biden calling for national unity after leading, for years, the chorus of shrill accusations of Trump being Hitler, threatening an end to democracy, putting black people in chains, being a closet facist, and other popular numbers all intended, we are now to believe, to bring about unity?
He has a history of divisive politics going back at least to his days of Clarence Thomas' confirmation hearings and probably before . As far as I can tell Joe has always been a race baiter .
Any doubt of his nature should be put to rest with both his Independence Hall speech and this years SOTU address . He put a "bulls eye" on Trump and his constituents .
While this site, rather miraculously, is working, I thought I'd mention that it seems the powers that be are content to let it die a slow, agonizing death. It is becoming more and more difficult just to get to the homepage. Too bad.

Don't want to get into conspiracy theories although it is easy to do with all the CYA going on. But as inept as Joe's team has been it is implausible to believe that they would get some kid who can't hit the side of a barn at 130 yd to be their hitman. Certainly not when Iranian assassins were available .

Either the security was guilty of incredibly foolish mistakes, or some person/group was wanting to see Trump dead. I don't see any other options. It certainly was not the result of an amazingly skilled and clever assassin at work.
The director of the Secret Service stated yesterday that they did not have personnel on the roof where the shooter ended up being because it was a "sloped roof". Really? I'm 71 years old and I would be able to navigate around on that roof with no trouble whatsoever. She is the kind of inept hire that gives DEI a well-deserved bad name.
So the sloped roof was too dangerous to stand on? You mean like these guys are casually doing?

Not only that ;local cops were stationed inside the building . That is a metal roof . They did not hear a sniper going up and down a ladder a couple of times ?
Or how about the claim about the threat of an Iranian assassin ? You would think that would warrant more security ;not mall rent a cops .
It's all very suspicious. It is hard to imagine how any even semi-competent person could have known about the threats of Iranian assassins and yet not even bother to secure a rooftop in prime shooting range from Mr. Trump because it has a GENTLE slope to the roof? How stupid can that lady possibly be?
and the threat to Trump has been continuous since January 2020 when IRGC boss Qasem Soleimani got a drone missile up his a$$ . As recent as March there were threats against Trump Pompeo and Bolton.

All he has to do is stick to policy differences . Most of the nation knows that inflation hurts ;that open borders is a bad idea ;and know the answer when asked how to identify a woman . Most of the nation doesn't want to be taxed to subsidize fantasies like the green new steal .
