    Trudeau announced his resignation . But just not yet. He wants to wait for elections in the fall of this year. Whether they let him or not is an open question.

    The conservative leader likely to replace him is Pierre Poilievre . He sounds like Trump. Tough on crime ; free market (well that is not quite Trump) ; denounces wokeism. He promised to

    Most people are all for cutting the bureaucracy unless, of course, it is the part of the bureaucracy that is supplying them with goodies.

    I understand that Trudeau will resign at some point in March. Until then, he has suspended parliament. It's likely because he does not want to endure a vote of no-confidence.
