At publishing time, President Biden had replaced Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin with Robert Downey Jr. on the grounds that Austin was just not black enough for his diverse cabinet.

And the LGBTQ+ community existed in Bible times -- and even before that.

So did child abusers. So did murderers. So did adulterers. Not real sure what "existence" proves.

Indigenous peoples have always loved LGBTQ+ tribe members. There are even books written about that.

Yes, INTELLIGENT and LOVING people understand what happened when LGBTQ+ individuals were formed, were created. And they have added so much to our civilization!

You are just offering up your own opinion. You are certainly entitled to it, but it is not even close to being a compelling reason to agree with your point.

There's a long history of LGBTQ+ people being positives within indigenous societies!* As I said, books have been written about it. A reference librarian at your public library will do a search and even order ILLs for you.

*And they are positives in our world today!

Just more opinion and the by now utterly predictable idea of asking me to look up your documentation. At any rate, I still don't know what your point is. There have, no doubt, been people of many stripes who have contributed to society. I don't know that anyone here has suggested otherwise. The conversation concerned men participating in women's athletics.

You asked, "Do you know what a woman is?" thereby opening up a potential deluge of responses.

I did not ask that. Read my post more carefully. I was making a statement that involved a question.

I have no idea what any of that has to do with transformers competing in woman's sports .

What I'm trying to say is; Everybody, everything is just a story. Cancer, disease, hatred, Earthquakes, Wars, are all parables. It's not as if we're trying to figure out Genesis to Revelation as best we can, getting the storyline of the Bible cerebrally positioned, intellectually strengthened, aware, able to address certain issues. It’s possible to deal with the how-to's; that’s easy. It’s possible to become denunciatory; that’s easy. It’s possible to become political; that’s easy. It is possible to be meticulously, vociferously, painstakingly committed to fiddle around with the Bible, and yet be unconverted.

Is it not distinctly possible that we may be increasingly intrigued about the Bible, and yet at the same time failing to be increasingly knowledgeable of Jesus?

There is no life in the Scriptures themselves. but if we will follow where they lead, they will bring us to Him, and so we find life, not in the Scriptures, but in Him through them. that The Word of God in Scripture and the Word of God incarnate is interwoven, in that the Spirit of God brings the Word of God to people in order that they might meet and discover Christ, the Son of God.

In Acts chapter 2, when Peter addresses the crowd - His preaching was to their hearts, his preaching was rooted in grace, and his preaching was focused on Christ...I honestly Don't know where the two of you are...I do care...I feel for Athos as I feel for the two of you.
