The report falls short in it's conclusions. It faults the FBI process without concluding that the FBI intentionally set out to knee cap Trump's campaign and later Trump's Presidency .

The problem is that it reads like a history book and not a report by a Special Council who had the power of law enforcement on his side. I thought his 2 attempts at prosecution (and one conviction of lying based on a plea deal) were half hearted at best. He never even interviewed the principles at the FBI who were the decision makers (Comey ;McCabe ,Strzok ).

Despite claims that they have cleaned up their acts ;the DOJ and the FBI are as corrupt and politicized as ever.

So Trump was right. There was no Russian collusion. Turns out that the only collusion was the collusion to make it appear that there was Russian collusion.

He was appointed by Ford as AG after Watergate. Prior to Watergate and Levi's term ,the FBI had been extensively using domestic surveillance operations.Levi instituted rules to eliminate abuses associated with the operations.

Flashback summer and fall 2016 . The FBI is "investigating " Evita's use of a private server to conduct government business . It is believed that she may have unintentionally allowed Russia to hack it .

After a visit by Bubba to Att General Loretta Lynch on the tarmac of the Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix , FBI Director James Comey makes a big public display in pronouncing that he would not charge Evita because no "reasonable" prosecutor would bring charges.

The campaign proceeds into the fall .

11 Days before the election he announces that due to more evidence he would re-open the investigation. They had discovered in their investigation of sex predator Congressman Anthony Weiner that some of Evita's private server emails were on her assistant ,Huma Weiner Abedin's phone. He had been "sexting" with a 15-year-old girl.
Then Nov 6 ;2 days before the election, Comey again closed the case.

To this day Evita and her sycophants blame Comey for her losing to Trump.

There may be some truth to that .But the Durham report tells us as Paul Harvey used to say "the rest of the story"

As an example the FBI thought that her campaign could fall victimbecause foreign donations had been arranged . The FBI warned off the person who arranged the donation and then gave Evita's lawyers a " defensive briefing " . They gave her 2 such briefings.

In contrast Crossfire Hurricane was initiated due to unverified off the cuff comments about Russians having access to Evita's emails made by Trump staffer George Papadopoulos in a bar to an Aussie Diplomat. Then Foreign Minister Alexander Downer ;a Clinton crime family ally sent a message to the FBI .Downer had previously arranged a $25 million donation from Australia to the Clinton Foundation Haiti aid program .
This happened while Evita was a Senator and Sec State.

The vague message Downer sent to the FBI was that Papadopoulos" suggested the Trump team had received some kind of suggestion from Russia that it could assist this process with the anonymous release of information during the campaign that would be damaging to Mrs. Clinton (and President Obama).”

The FBI went into full investigation mode without offering Trump's campaign the same courtesy of a 'defensive briefing ' . The memo from Downer was the sole reason needed to open Crossfire Hurricane. They never even bothered interviewing the diplomat before launching the investigation.

They also of course based much of their information of opposition research provided by Evita's campaign. They used the Steele dossier to obtain FISA warrants without even attempting verification . We now know that it was mostly made up by Igor Danchenko .

An FBI official told Durham.“They were pretty ‘tippy-toeing’ around HRC because there was a chance she would be the next President.”

As an example ;There were 3 separate field office investigations into the Clinton Crime Family Foundation by 2016 .

But in February 2016 ;Comey and McCabe held a meeting where they urged the field offices to back off. Any “overt investigative steps” would require sign-off from McCabe.

May 2016 Comey told the NY field office to back down.

The Mueller report stated clearly that in speaking with Downer, Papadopoulos never mentioned emails. Neither Downer nor Papadopoulos ever claimed that Papadopoulos spoke of emails.Papadopoulos did not tell Downer that Russia was planning "to publish" damaging information about Evita.

Why do I have the funny feeling that all of this will simply be swept under the rug and rather soon left behind?

It should be the final nail in the coffin of the Trump collusion conspiracy . But it won't . The narrative is cemented in the mind of the lefty moon-bats and that is where it will stay . My only satisfaction is that after 7 years of debating against lie after lie about it I can definitively say I was right and that when the truth was revealed ,it was worse than I ever imagined .
