India is taking steps to restrict foreign direct investment from countries that share a land boundary with India...a clear swipe at China .India is engaging with other countries in the Indo-Pacific making bilateral agreements and through Quad Plus (India, US, Australia, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand and Vietnam) to counter China and to blunt or balance China’s future influence in institutions like the World Health Organization.
