Even you must concede that our "meddling" was done in conjunction with other factions within those nations. Sometimes those factions do gain power, and turn against us, or go on their own, but that's the history of every dominant power going back to Babylonian times, and further. That's the nature of man, and you cannot ignore that this goes on.
To your specific examples though you left out the CONTEXT of that "meddling" or the circumstances surrounding them which was a greater threat to the region, or population, or business of our own interests. I know you have been known to be prejudiced against USA in general since I have been on these boards, but a more objective view might give you a fuller understanding of the scope of our adventures throughout the world.
I will agree our government has collude with many dastardly characters to make money for multinational interest, what nation hasn't? Even your own government will sell dirt and stuff to any nation or customer that can pay for it with little regard how it's used so what's the point of staying on your high horse because we do the same on a much larger global scale? Many spies and factions with agendas out in the world, and we are but one with the greatest tools and resources.
Everybody wants guns! And we got 'em but they aren't free. So let's put this in perspective about our "meddling" and atrocities according to you, in that we are a BIGGER player on the world stage and all us humans are screwed up, and just being an isolated nuclear capable capitalist super power is NOT in our national interest.
Great research and I respect your opinion, and I hope you understand that size does matter, and the USA ain't perfect. Despite all your trepidation and criticism though you Aussies are smart enough to be allies instead of adversaries I see.
