I spent six years being educated by the Jesuits. The typical Jesuit priest on the ground tends to be conservative while the Scholastics (Jesuits in training pre-ordination), being in their twenties mostly, tend to be liberal. Jesuits reflect their homeland and its culture. That's why Jesuits, an international society, can often be politically diverse.
