Thanks for welcoming! Yes, I agree with you but isn't it possible that the Ebola or whatever harmful viruses are just found in particularly those birds and animals of that one specific region? For instance, people have seen bird flue and have restricted themselves eating those chicken in their regions but at the same time in different part of the country people are eating chicken with no fear because they have been told that in that regions their chickens are free from those viruses or parasite etc after testing.
The people I have seen eating Bats, it was very long ago and they are still there, now old but alive, living a healthy life.

Hi prescious, yes the virus may be localised and be unknown or unidentified for a long time. There is no doubt that at least some of our problems come from eating exotic foods, ie; civet cats in China, apes in Africa, puffer fish. They also come from coming into contact with various animals. Once we become aware we should change what we are doing because viruses mutate in the human body and cross species. I think ignorance is no excuse and so as soon as we identify a problem we have to make sure the information is widely known. Some of the virilent outbreaks of recent times have been from poor hygene and management practices and I don't expect ebola is different but if an animal is a source of disease it should be avoided

Well so much for it being difficult to catch in a place with "superior" medical facilities and hygiene. One of the health care workers that was supposedly trained and equipped to work around these sort of patients is now one of them. Like some of us didn't see this coming all along.

Of course you didn't see it coming. You should have closed your borders to those countries

We saw it coming. The idiot at the helm of the CDC apparently lacks any common sense, or apparently any medical knowledge what-so-ever. Because even those of us without any formal medical training knew this. Its been the #1 protocol for dealing with epidemics for eons. Contain the outbreak FIRST. Not spread the infected victims throughout uninfected communities. Their actions taken are those of someone who INTENDS to spread the disease far and wide.

The emperor now has an 'ebola czar " .He's another political hack ... Ronald A. “Ron” Klain is an American lawyer and political operative best known for serving as Chief of Staff to two Vice Presidents - Al Gore (1995–1999) and Joseph Biden (2009–2011).He is an influential Democratic Party insider. Earlier in his career, he was a law clerk for Supreme Court Justice Byron White during the Court's 1987 and 1988 Terms and worked on Capitol Hill, where he was Chief Counsel to the Senate Judiciary Committee during the Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination.

He was the Goracle's Chief of Staff during the 2000 election Florida recall mess. No doubt he will blame ebola on Global Warming .But does he know anything about infectious diseases ? Nahh . His expertise is in damage control and expropriating funds. Rahm Emanuel once said to never let a crisis go to waste. People forget the rest of the quote.' " This crisis provides the opportunity for us to do things that you could not before."

The emperor has already issued a late night executive order mobilizing the National Guard to deploy to Africa. Don't be surprised if they suddenly find themselves not in Liberia dealing with the ebola scare ,but in West Africa hunting Boko Haram .

Try to keep up Tom Boko Harum have entered into a ceasefire and negotiations with the Nigerian government so that excuse has been taken away for the time being, no infective diseases control is a great use of trained troops..

What training ? They are being given a 4 hr crash course .
PressTV - US troops get four-hour Ebola training before heading to W Africa
There is no need to mobilize the National Guard ,taking them away from family and their domestic jobs. This is just the emperor playing catch up because AGAIN ,he was caught off guard and surprise .
