Who said anything about stopping multiplication although restrictions on age and number would seem a way to get better outcomes, no, the idea of marriage needs rethinking, there should be real penelties for breaking the marriage contract not just a give women the assets and we need to rethink the permissive society where you can just cohabit with whoever you want

The idea of marriage is being rethought, and good luck making restriction on cohabiting with whomever you want. People seem to like free choice. All aspects of life are kind of raggedy right now following the GFC. Hard to be happy when you have been robbed of house and income and kicked to the curb.

The "father knows best" days have been long gone, and not all the men now have assets the woman just takes.

Who pay for all that counseling, and what of those that cohabitate instead of marry? What happens to the kids if counseling doesn't work but just delays the inevitable? It may be easier to get a divorce, but divorce is no easy thing to go through.

The persons going through divorce or through first time custody of children when born in cihabitation. If they cant afford it then there should be services available on a sliding scale.

Inevitable is not part of the equation. The part that counts is the learning of co-parenting. Without that and having the ability to co operate then the children stand a much better chance at this world.

I dont see why the courts seem to think that mom knows best when it seems there are so many out of control children and dads that are being treated like walking wallets. It is just not working. Why is it that every time there is extreme violence they ask where the dads are at but the courts put them in a position to not participate? Doesnt sound right to me but it happens every day in family court.

It is the ultimate form of discrimination.

There is finally a good Cheerios commercial where the dad is not portrayed as a fat, irresponsible moron, it's pretty refreshing to see.
