    I think the line here is that people celebrate easter differently. They have their own "message".

    I suggest that if you call the holiday 'Easter ' then it should be celebrated in the Christian tradition .

    Actually, the point was that all three Spring Festivals are pronounced the same: Ees - tur.

    true if you speak English. In Latin it's Pascha which is derived from the Hebrew Pesach, or Passover.
    I concede that Christianity did a lot of borrowing as it expanded it's influence. Only a literalist thinks that Jesus was born on Dec 25.
    Since the celebration of the Resurrection occurs on various dates on the calendar ,it is assumed that it coincides with other cultural rites of Spring renewal. But it is also a fact that the early church wanted the Easter connection to Passover ;and that is not celebrated on a fixed date ,but instead is determined by the lunar cycle .
