Hey.. if I got the same free ride Obama did... I would too ( we are only a few months apart in age) But I was born with the wrong skin color.

You can't compare what I make with where I live to someone in backwater Louisianna town, or some rural Oklahoma town.

I make more than the national average....but you can't rent a one bedroom apartment in this area for under $1,800 a month, a two bedroom for under $2,500 or a house for under $3,500 a month. And those are average 30 - 60 year old places....not some uberfancy high end place.

They are buying perfectly Half million dollar houses to tear down to put up a McMansion on the 1/4 acre lot. I've seen a few really nice 5 3,500 - 4,500 sq foot houses worth about $750,000 ( a lot bigger and nicer than mine) on 1/2 acre lots bought to be torn down to build even bigger houses.

And thats right now, in the Middle of the Obama recession.

My Irish anecdote was designed to make a point about today's Republicans. Apparently, it landed with a big THUD!

I'll try to be more direct in the future.

Maybe that's because its not the republicans it should have been pointed at... but the democrats.

and you say you are not racist, Factcheck, Obama did not cause the recession, he inherited it from those fat white guys you are defending. If the rent costs too much, move and do the commute or better still chuck in that job and move to one of those dirtwater towns.

Really... I live and work at ground zero of the Obamanation... and the Obama recession... you live halfway around the earth and rely on journalists to give you their version of what they want you to believe.

Nothing is better today than it was on George Bushes last day....the unemployment numbers have never been close to those much less better since....roughly 10 million fewer people are in the labor force today than when Bush left office...despite a growing population. And household income has dropped under Obama.

Look if these guys want to feel included in the greater prospertity zone what's your problem as long as you can convince them to stay put. Wasn't this what NAFTA was supposed to accomplish. Darn, another failure, you just can't trun the sun and poverty off where they live
