    Hello again,

It MIGHT have something to do with the volley ball pits being in full view of the queen... But, surely the Brits don't have any problem with boobs.. They're much less uptight about them than we are...

Actually it was because it was kind of cold so all is well. They aren't required to cover up but they can if they want to now. I feel much better.

Well Speech I don't mind watching Chinese gymnasts any more than I mind watching Aussies or americans and If Palau makes the finals I might even be watching them.

It may be that people from the northern climes would enjoy playing beach volley ball in summer gear at temperatures some of us consider winter, but the players can wear more appropriate gear if they want too, nothing to do with religious beliefs and a lot to do with common sense, I suppose you have come to regret the swimmers wear body suits too

I think you are a bit confused here. NBC is a major network that has only devoted a portion of its programing to the Olympics over its flagship stations. They are also providing wall to wall coverage on other NBC owned channels and also carrying it live over the internet.

Sure there is a national focus going on because of time constraints. But all in all there is a high degree of respect for Olympic atheletes no matter what the country of origin happens to be. Everyone has a favorite sport they want to follow and by providing it on other venues they aren't missing a beat.

Oh Please tell me it isn't done for profit, isn't what the adverisers pay for, it is all done for the respect of the athletes, I see a lot of respect ,when an athlete fails like the camera is in their face. The Olympics is profit personified excepting in this case you can't even fill the stands because the seats are reserved for hangers on who don't even attend, no respect there. If the Brits have failed it is in understanding that you have to sell seats not give them away

The additional OPTIONS were indeed to accommodate customs and religious beliefs. I just missed the 'option' part. Note: I do admit when I'm wrong.

I think he should took a bong to celebrate :>

I agree . That was a tremendous accomplishment that required super human dedication.
However ,there is plenty of time for NBC to do the human interest programming. There was something more in their decision to exclude this one segment of the opening ceremony.

That's just a search for "NBC olympics coverage". Twitter is afire about their failings.

Thank you, just wanted a source. I think their coverage is terrible. In fact I think just about everything NBC does is terrible. That's probably why they're dead last among the big four networks.

When it comes to TV, I don't care what network something is on, I just look for shows/programs I like. I end up bittorrenting much of what I watch.
