I mentioned those countries only because you brought them up... China in the OP ,and Russia in your previous comment.
The US has assets on the ground in sub-Sahara Africa trying to make a positive difference. That was part of those commitments I was speaking about. When we are gone ,then what you'll see is Rhawandas all over the world. Then CNN and the world will again say to us... "why don't you do something"?

Look Tom you aren't the only ones who have assets running around sub saharan Africa. If the Ruwandians want to fight among themselves let them but there are wider issues here after all not many peoples are into tribal massacres but it is prevalent among Muslims

It is a good question Tom you did such a good job in Iraq why don't you do something? It is not like you to miss an opportunity to put a despot in power. Is it because you don't have some disgruntled african expat whispering in your ear about WMD? Perhaps if Kono fired a missile in the direction of Israel? After all people in that part of the world have fond memories of the day israel did something. No Tom you ignore africa because it doesn't represent a threat in any form. If you are so worried about China you should be in there countering their influence instead of harassing the pakistani's and afghans and what happened to the Iranians, suddenly they are off the agenda, no WMD there?

You stand idly by and watch Syria tear itself apart as you stood idly by and watched Saddam deal with the shiites. I have no doubt you think it worthwhile that the reduction of the Syrian threat to Isreal is a useful objective after all it is hard to fight an external war when you are looking over your shoulder

I for one have not forgotten Iran. The Obama Adm blew it's chance to make a(relatively ) non-violent difference there .

Non violent difference? It is easy, walk away, there is no issue here other than they see the world differently to you. So one nation decides it will not put up with your bullying, tough, walk away.

Don't take any notice of ahamadjihad, he is a small man growing smaller
