Retore circulation ? The government is the one that is preventing that . They took almost a trillion in borrowed money and gave it away to green energy companies of their cronies that are now going belly up . Have you even begun to read what Corzine did ? If his name was Ken Lay they'd throw away the key after his frog march. He's one of the many Dems in the revolving door of crony socialism.

Like Corzine is the only EX politician DEM, or REPUB, to get screwed in the private sector. If he is a criminal he goes to jail, so what? Southern Energy Companies seem to be doing just fine with their DOE backed loans, and for the record, are paying them back, its called a return on investment, which every repub knows about, and LOVES.

And what does Ken Lay have to do with it? He wasn't innocent, he was a crook.

The problem is all the 40 year old retirees over there that want big fat pensions until the day they die... and they get their panties in a knot if anyone suggests they have to work longer before they retire...

I have no sympathy for them... the retirement age is going to be 67 here by the time I reach it, thanks to lazy and fat people (whose legs hurt) collecting SSI without ever having paid into it. That and the money being squandered on everything else BUT SSI over the decades.

You can blame your capitalist system, Smoothy, for all those fat people drawing SSI. Why don't you put a levy on fast food to pay for it? Then the quick buck might actually do something useful, and yes, use the money you have put into wars to pay for SSI like other reasonable and developed nations do, or are you trying to retire your people early? Instead of attacking the people you should be attacking the problem.

You need to understand that people who sit on their but all day can work much longer before retirement provided the young are willing to wait for those plumb jobs the older people have earned, but no, you will be winging about youth unemployment next. You should do what the romans did and put them all in the army until they are forty. Problem solved

Hey... I wasn't for going into Libya... OR Africa...

Yeah... the excessive social programs that cater to the fat and lazy ARE the fault of the liberals here... just like they are the Greeks in Greece.

Honestly... I think a mandatory military service would be a good thing...

Not for 40 years, but three or four. Turn those children into adults.

If it wasn't for Obama and his punish the employers policies... there would be lots of jobs...

Besides... Obama acquired roughly 10 million dollars without actually having worked a real job... why isn't HIS wealth being spread around? Lets see HIM practice what he preaches.

All politicians acquire money It is why they go into politics. You know as well as I do that in times like this employment contracts, it isn't the fault of the government, it is the thinking of managers, cutting costs instead of expanding the business.

Even in an economy as buoyant as ours, we are seeing employment in many industries contract. This is why we say we have a three speed economy. Some of what has happpen is the fault of government; end of stimulis programs in an untidy manner, but most is lack of confidence in the face of continuing problems. I don't doubt your corporations take the same view

Not in the case of current economy here... goverment attacks on business has made the businesses withdraw and downsize as a self preservation measure... when the President goes on his nearly daily attack and blame business for everything rants... adn the "Blame the rich" when he himself is one of the rich that's NOT sharing HIS wealth... any thinking person familiar with how our economy works would recognize. I'm not claiming it works that way everyplace... and in fact it might not... but here is certainly does.

Obama is the most ANTI-business politician that's ever been in office here... so its no great surprise business is contracting rather than expanding under the current hostile environment.

Obama is sitting on his 10+ million dollars... why isn't he spreading it around to the have-nots? What makes him so special he is exempt for his own demands?

If taxes go up, he will pay more just like all the rich guys will. But business didn't shrink and downsize because of him, they have been doing that forever. Since the first one when Fred Flintstone, went to Bronto-burgers drive in. That's what they do when demand is soft, that's Economics 101, and it was Ronald Reagan who schooled me in the fine points of trickle down economics.

That's why the nation is screwed, because what we have now is Trickle down on steroids, as we move to yet another version of oligarchy.

Wall Street and the rich have made more loot under this president than they did under the previous one that screwed things up in the first place. Plus this should be about Greeks, not Americans!

Things didn't really hit the skids until after he was sworn in and started his attacks... He enherited a 5.8% unemployment rate and turned it into a 9.1% his voters should be proud.

Its no wonder nobody what's to hire... if I owned a business I wouldn't as long as he was in office.

Trickle down... Obama has been pushing the trickle UP theory that if you give the laziest half of society a free ride... you will achieve Utopia.

Its been a dismal failure thus far.

When did that ever stop anyone cross threading a theme?

There is a big difference between wanting change and being able to overcome the negativity of the population. This is being seen in Greece and in other places. There is no utopia in the northern hemisphere even though it has been long sought. The only way you will achieve trickle down is through taxation, releaving the rich of their excess billions. People like Gates understand this and they give it away rather than just allow government to take it. Why would Burfett say taxes should be higher, because he understands that with existing tax policy it really doesn't matter what the rate of tax is, there is little income to report
