That of course would assume the bean counters aren't the ones completely running the show. And truly grasp what they did wrong and why. At least as far as the average consumer sees it.
Is it possible to overcome the ill will its created? Maybe... but making up for the lost opportunity until that happens is far less likely.
Plus there are a lot of consumers with long Memories... however there are far more with the attention span of 3 year olds.
