Makes me think of a "Fancy Hat club" where women vie to have the most outrageous hats. And we had many runners up at that event.

I just don't get the hat thing. I understand that the Queen likes hat, but to me hats are just an excuse not to brush your hair. ;)

Rod has always loved hats. Not the ones at this wedding, but a nice simple hat on a woman, he loves it. Every once in a while I'll try on hats, and he always begs me to buy one.

Thing is, where would I wear it? I doubt dollarama will allow me to wear one. Driving the kids to school really doesn't require a fancy hat. The only time I could see a hat being useful is while doing gardening, and then it would be a different kind of hat.

Also, I have a fat head. I can't find hats that fit. Okay, to be fair, it's not my head, but my thick hair, but still, they don't fit.

I'll stick to a ponytail. That's about as fancy as this girl gets. :)
