I was going to say that when I lived in Kansas I would see something similar but with a purplish hue. Fortunately I only saw partial dipping of the clouds.
Fyi I thought I was making a meanigful and intelligent observation about the Murchison asteroid/meteroite .

Scientist speculate that this rock which is possibly older than the sun ,passed through primordial clouds on it's path to Earth picking up these hitchhiker organic compounds. In other words ,it opens up the possibility that life on Earth is in fact alien .
