I think she's a good person. :) Why are so many people hating on her?

The talk show trend seems to be slowly dying. Everybody half-famous seemed to have one in the mid to late 90s but now only a handful will remain.

I am so so happy to hear she is getting off the air. Have not watched her show for years.

25 years in my opinion is too long for one show anyway.

    I agree.

The other day she was interviewing Jenna Jameson. Like that woman has anthing good to say. I like porn don't be me wrong, but Jenna Jameson is just walking sex doll, and not in a good way.

She was telling Oprah how she paved the way for other porn stars. Stupidest interview ever.

Watching it made me horny, annoyed and dumber all at the same time

Ohso you have never seen Ricki Lake?!

    Bad girl! :p

I think it's about time Oprah bit the dust, never been a fan really... there have been a few episodes I have sat down and watched with interest but mostly the channel gets changed.

It's not like she doesn't have enough money anyway...

The bad news is she will remove the last vestige of class from daytime talk shows. Even the Jenna Jameson show wasn't trashy. Will the standard devolve to Jerry Springer?

Oh good lord I sure hope not.
Maurey was just as bad at times.
    "He my baby daddy!"
"My mom had sex with my husband!"
    "B**** You don't KNOW ME!"
"Oh my GOD! Youz a broom?!" (family guy! Haha)

All of these people make the human race look like an ignorant garbage pile. I'm ashamed that there are even people like that in the world. Ugh.

I wish Montel Williams was still on the air. Ellen Degeneras is hilarious and funny and does a lot of good.
There are more good talk show hosts then bad, but then again people usually focus on the negative.

I really liked it when Sylvia Brown came on the show. Haha!

I think my favorite ones was when he'd talk to people that survived a kidnapping or something like that, or when he had that episode with the really smart kids and their inventions. I liked that.

    Oh Montel, you were good.

It was always fun to watch her on the show anyway,

Hey, she charges 700 dollars for a session. Her son does the same at 500.

    She is making a killing.

I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to stuff like that-- but I still like hearin' 'em.

"It's your uncle the one with the nose and eyes. He says he loves you."

Teehee and the person is like "he said that-- oh uncle jim" [puts hand on chest and smiles and makes crying face]

    Haha

It's people like that that I'd like to put out of business - giving people false hope is horrible.

September 9, 2011. And that's when her last show is supposed to be. Why get all mushy about this now I ask?

She has done some good. But she has done some pretty bad things to the American woman. Her persuasive means of selling dud books is certainly one of them. Her losing weight by going on the liquid diet years ago and wearing padded clothing until her "body debut" happened only teaches Oprah addicts it's okay to starve yourself to be thin regardless of the health hazards and potential health hazards down the road. Her yoyo weight is also not a good role model. Her not getting married is another bad role model. It's perfectly okay to live with a man for how many years but if he doesn't want to get married or keeps standing you up at the altar - why not get someone else who wants to make an honest women of you? She should have dumped him years ago and gotten someone who loved her for her and her money.

Sylvia Browne is a fake - albeit a good fake. Yes, she does make money hand over fist but she claims that she "supports" something like 20 other people in her family. No psychic can keep it up year after year giving continuous readings as they would be literally burnt out by it.

Sylvia Brown has gotten to be pretty persuasive though. Anyone know how she does it? :)

    Hmm..

If Oprah died, I wonder if things would go just as crazy as when Michael Jackson died-- things are still crazy...

I'l stop right there before we get the I LOVE MJ or Wacko Jacko comments...

If it makes you feel dany better, I liked him back when he was black, and sane(er)
The white MJ, well, he went super loopy. Not a fan of the "more recent" (late MJ) EW
