I think people would think twice about raping someone if they knew it meant a bullet in the head or if they stole something and we chopped their hands off. It is only fair. You obey the law or be punished. Is it that hard to understand?

You sound like a devout muslim.

Make the rich pay for EVERYONE to use the roads and the firemen... in the process making the rich poor... leaving nobody to pay for the roads anymore. Socialism in action.

RAUUUUUUUL turned out to be a Genius move. I love Pat the Bat but he can't run or field at all. The AL playing DH is where he belongs!

    Hello:

Maybe a civil war IS what we need. The blues against the reds... Do you mind being called reds? Ironic, isn't it?

I have to say I have always been Red when it comes to the death penalty. Other then that I am Blue.

Don't mind at all, and the blues aren't so bad sometimes, especially that hot thing that was dancing with Tom DeLay last night.

    Hello again:

If, in fact, our wishes came true, and we could see ourselves butcher another human being on TV, the death penalty would be history.

You are NOT as brutal as you pretend you are, my friends...

    Ok, maybe the Wolverine is.

    I respectfully disagree.

NK, I was just posting my view on it, that is all.

Ex, I think a civil war is already in the process and we just don't know it yet.

I'm liking this idea. People always think there's a way out of something and if the government provides NO way out then I really do believe people would think twice. I use to be against death penalty until my daughter was born; if someone were to ever do her harm I would want them to be rid of in the worst possible way. :) Lovely, huh!

After careful consideration I have opted for the 4th option. Dr.Joe Guillotine got it right. It is the most humane form of execution and the terror effect is a deterent . Chalk one up for the French !

I am glad you think the same way. Why waste the money to give them a place to sleep and something to eat when we could save millions if we just killed them for their crime. I keep my house secured and I am always armed. If someone breaks into my house, I will kill them because they do not deserve a chance in the world anymore.

Perhaps the republicans should draft up a bill to legislate death by guillotine.

You can't kill people for jaywalking the punishment has to fit the crime.

Did you know they did away with the guillotine because it is inhumane and you actually feel the pain for it the most. You still feel the pain after your head is cut off.

That is an example of a petty crime. Give them a warning or a ticket. You don't kill people like that.

Exactly! I keep an ax in my car. So if anyone ever tries to pull a number on me, they are getting whacked to death. And you are right... they just don't deserve a second chance. On another thought, I remember having this conversation with my grandfather when I was a little girl. Yes, he was an interesting man. His idea for punishment for murder and things of that nature was to strap the criminal to a chair in an ER and make them watch people go in and out and then execute them.

That would be an interesting idea. I like your axe idea, I like to keep a knife with me or a gun. I don't like to be messed with and people are untrustworthy today.

Too French. Oh wait, the French are actually getting a pair while Obama castrates the country.
