    Now children, play nicely.
One note though, I always thought that conservatives were known for their intolerance. You know, forbidding everything lest you go to hell. Or God forbid, you might have to increase taxes on the filthy rich. Not the middle class, not the moderately rich, just the small percentage of Americans that are filthy rich. Like AIG execs.

Gee, look around the news lately. It's getting worse every day. What guarantee is there that it's going to get worse because of Obama?

Well, for starters, what jobs has he created? What has he done for the homeless? What has he done to ensure that our rights to own guns is not stripped away? What has he done to ensure that we can grow our own food in a garden on our own property?

Since you're an Obamatron head, why don't you answer these questions?

cozyk, conservatives are not the ones forcing speech codes, conscience codes, discriminatory "nondiscrimination" policies and holding "kangaroo courts" on college campuses.

Conservatives are not the ones trying to enact a "fairness doctrine" to silence voices we don't like. We aren't the ones living in huge homes with huge carbon footprints that jet around the world to criticize others for damaging the planet.

Conservatives are not all right-wing, bigoted, hardcore evangelicals telling everyone they're going to hell, some are not religious at all. I like beer, I like wine, I like cigars, I like rock music. Some of my favorite movies are R Rated, I enjoy watching girls in skimpy bikinis on the beach, I hate pollution, I'd rather watch football than Nascar - heck, I even have friends who are liberals and yes... friends that aren't Caucasian!

So is he dissing obama or carter?
Obama has just started in the white house, it doesn't take a couple of days to get something done for a --> NATION <--
Obama has a family, his family is the reason why he ran for president. His speeches and appearances on late night shows, makes him look like a down-to-earth funny guy. He's all about change isn't he?
By the way- do you have a profile on infinity-forums?

YUP! Even though he won the election back in November he is still on the campaign trail. Trying like everything to sell his brand of Liberalism to a public that is fast waking up to the simple fact that they voted for a pretty face with no experience running anything. Sadly we do not have time for him to learn on the job as this nation sinks into a sea of red tape, bloated Government, an trillion dollar deficits for the foreseeable future.

[QUOTE=twinkiedooter;1617907]Gee, look around the news lately. It's getting worse every day.
Obama has been in office barely 2 months. He inherited a mess that was 8 years in the making under Bush. It will get worse before it gets better. The momentum is powerful. You can't stop a train on a dime.

I don't know. What? You tell me. You are the one that guaranteed it.

Once again, only 2 months in office. Is someone trying to strip your gun away? If you meet the very rational sensible requirements, there is no problem. Do you fear that you won't meet the requirements? The reason there are restrictions put forth is to protect us from some hot head, having a temper tantrum and going out having a "kill fest".

Did I miss something? Are we in danger of not being able to have a veggie garden on our property? Where did that come from?

    I believe I just did.

A response to your comment "I always thought that conservatives were known for their intolerance."

That's a myth propagated by the left, who are far more intolerant as the links prove beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I truly don't believe what I'm reading on here still. Enough already. Rome was not built in a day. This is the only president in history that have gone into office with so much on his plate. It's been two months and everyone is looking for miracles. It took several years to get to this point the nation is in at this present time. It appears that some of you have tried, juried and hung him already. To be in office in such little time, yes, the changes are slow but happening. There's aslso never been a president that have been scrutinized as the one in office now, why is that I wonder? And also due to one of Obamas' policy, 300 jobs was created. My neighbor was unemployed for four months until this week. This nation has been divided for far too long. The fact that, so many colors, creeds and cultures from all variations and walks of life came together for the election and inauguration had to have moved some of you emotionally. That right there, says a lot. Give the man a chance & stop condemning him. Also, he doesn't have all the power that you think he has, congress has a lot to do with it.

Not condeming him but his policies that are so dangerous that even some liberals are getting worried.

And yes, one has to only see the new history of lies coming from the congress to see this is just the same all politics. You have bills with more PORK than ever, you have bills that are nothing more than payoffs to supportors and more.

And where where you and others saying we need to not be divided when Bush was in office, why could you all not support him like you want everyone to support one of the most liberal push in American history.

I'm not asking anyone to support Obama, I do and that''s good enough for me. You can't always read into the media and if someone wwas to recite a verse from the bible or even poetry, we would all interpret it differently. Worry about what we can change and accept what we can't. As for me, I'm too much of a happy and positive person. But, I do respect your view.

Bush did what Bush wanted to do and listened to no one. I picture him as a bratty little kid with a humongous ego with a bubble above his head that says...
I"M THE PREZ' IT'S MY WAY OR THE HIGHWAY. AND FIRST AND FOREMOST, I"LL NEVER ADMIT TO MAKING A MISTAKE. I"M TOO MUCH OF A WEENIE TO OWN UP" BTW, WHERE IS MY SIX SHOOTER?":D

How about sharing one, two, or three changes that have been made since his taking office.
