    I agree with Ex that art is art and doing the same old is pretty much nothing more than copying.

    Nothing beats this in my opinion. Remember I was in Canada at this time and had never lived in the US; and it still brought a tear to my eye.

    I enjoyed the Houston one particularly because it was during the Gulf War and because the Giants won a thriller Superbowl after .

    Sandi Patty ; I heard her original rendition of that version (at least I think it was the 1st time) during a dedication to the Statue of Liberty . I think it was when it reopened after renovations. The last verse is inspiring .

    Ps thanks for the Marine Corp version .
