LOL! I know. I am getting pretty tired of all the shoveling I have had to do these past two weeks. My property looks the way it generally does at the beginning of March. I am running out of places to put the snow. LOL.

I was watching a special on TV the other day, about prolific quarterback's.
They were featuring Colts QB Peyton Manning.
He is not only very candid and very funny, he's also quite intelligent, too!

When asked, "Wouldn't you love to play the Patriot's??"

Manning said, "Hell no!! I'd rather play Oakland or Miami!! Are you kidding??"

LOL! I love Peyton Manning. He will definitely be able to find a gig in the entertainment field, whether it is sports commentary or something else, after he retires from playing.

Al Sharpton? Please pass the maalox. Just uttering the man's name gives me instant indigestion. Hope the feds find enough to put this Ambulance Chaser Extraordinaire out of business for good.

The fat lady hasn't sung yet. I hope I like the song!

The last game of the regular season is a Monday night, New Years Eve, the Jets host the Chiefs. I wonder what attendance will look like...

Well now, I'm 1 for 2 so far on my predictions - the Dolphins will NOT go winless. Hopefully my other will come to pass and the Pats won't go undefeated :D

Jets-Chiefs? Seriously? I can't possibly imagine why the NFL would schedule that game for MNF period. But then I can't possibly imagine why ESPN would have Kornheiser as an analyst for the games either.

Regarding the original post. Yes, NAACP has outlived it's purpose I am afraid. They should stick solely to raising money to help underpriviledged minority children go to college. If they feel absolutely compelled to comment on any legal issues regarding race, it should be done after all the facts have come out. They need to regain some credibility or they will fall to the wayside completely in the not too distant future.

Thanks, I almost forgot why I started this post. I like your title for Al - ACE. I certainly believe the black community - and the rest of us - would be better off without ACE and Jesse's help.

I love Peyton, he's a great QB and a smart and very funny guy. I think Oakland must have heard his comments though, they gave the Colts a pretty good run yesterday - but I like his honesty in that, lol.

Never! OK, maybe if I could have counted on just one NE player in fantasy football - like Maroney.

He's done some of the funniest commercials for an athlete ever. I was a little disappointed in the ones he'd done this year until his Priceless Pep Talks. You can get them personalized for you.

Oh, and I can't for the life of me figure out why Eli is called "unstoppable" in a watch ad. I bet tom wonders that, too :)

The Tawana Brawley case will forever live in my mind. For whatever reason (probably age related cognizance), my pea brain recognizes that as the beginning of all media led legal flaming. All those cases in the same vein as that one that subsequently show up, puts a major strain on race relations and we take two steps backward.

I agree with your assessment about ACE & Action Jackson. The only people who believe they are socially relevant are the individuals themselves, and the people who don't follow or dismiss, their track records.

Did you see Peyton Manning's stint hosting Saturday Night Live? He was hysterically funny. I rarely watch that show anymore but I made an exception when I saw he was the guest host, and he didn't disappoint.

I think you're absolutely right. I don't think of race and I bet the majority of Americans would like to be past this sort of thing but ACE, Jesse and co. won't let it go.

I quit watching SNL when the last of the originals were gone, but I'll keep an eye out for that one somewhere.

    Nicely put, Al, lol.
