I still can't come to grips with how wildly LEFT the Demos have become today. I never thought that I would see the party of my Mother, a lifelong "Roosevelt" Democrat, turn so abruptly and hard left. I don't think it happened during the Clinton years, even though Hillary led Bill around by the ear in terms of ideological lead. The turn had to come during Obama's years in Office.
