Can I just also add that for any Republic to survive in cannot rely on the virtue of men. Rather it needs to rely on a genuine mixed power base. Not a personified triumvirate of big business, big government (both persuasions) and big unions.

A real conservative does not support the Chamber of Commerce's immigration position. And I don't understand why the libs who claim to support the workforce would favor an influx of illegal cheap labor into an already over crowded job market....a labor force whose benefits are paid for through the excessive fees, and taxes of working American citizens forced into Obamacare.

Why would he? It's endemic in the system, they all do it. Having one or two people criticize it while still doing it solves nothing. You're basically saying it isn't a big issue when it's actually the biggest issue.
