I just used the old "manage attachments" button below. Let me see if it works this way...

Ah, it worked for me in the preview then vanished. Which is another glitch, every time you edit and click "save" it acts as if nothing happens, but apparently it does. It's all very confusing now.

you can "go advanced" and use the "manage attachments" option below the advanced window, it still works.

Try saving the image on your own computer or coverting it to a jpeg file

forget that . We had the ability to post pix before all the tinkering . I'll wait for the heads to figure it out .

yes I see you can't post coloured signatures anymore, I do like the new look now I've go used to it, but it is annoying to have to navigate to the the most recent post. I don't like setting the default to bring up the most recent post, you tend to loose the thred of the conversation

btw , the 'humane 'organization that is pushing the horse carriage ban is a front group for a politically connected (and de Blasio campaign contributor ) real estate developer who wants to convert the stables on the west side to parking lots ,and storage space. DeBlasio is just another lefty hypocrite.

Yes, you find them on both sides of politics. Best found in those who hold political office.

yeah that's the fall back position but since the lefties point the J'accuse finger at us all the time ,turn around is fair play.

So as opposed to pointing out all those who do it how can the situation be fixed? I think we know the motivating factors.

got me . If someone like De Blasio ;who spent a career doing the populist pablum, railing against the privileged ,makes his 1st act as mayor a payoff for a political patron,( who should be ,according to his rhetoric ,right in his cross hairs)....then perhaps there is no answer .It's just the way it is .

How about trying to remove the incentive for politicians to do these things? Just saying "It's just the way it is" is basically giving up the fight.

uh huh . You think funding reform works . That's a fantasy . To illustrate ,this crusader for the common man de Blasio opposes a lawsuit in NY that seeks to scrap the state’s $150,000 cap on an individual’s total annual political gifts. But in 2005 ,as a City Council member ,he pushed a law that created a special exception to let unions ...and only unions skirt a $4,950 cap on gifts to candidates.

He's beholden to union support ;especially public unions. Hence his support for scrapping non-union charter schools . So let me hear you and all the lefties here call for hard limits on union spending for candidates ;remembering that taking public union money is a conflict of interest for elected officials who have to negotiate public union contracts ...then perhaps I'll listen to the phoney sanctimony .

I'm no "lefty" and it certainly has nothing to do with which political party one supports, if any. All are in it for the money from special interests groups, not to represetns those that elected them. Greed is the motivating factor by far.

You obviously have no interest in seeking solutions - just in continuing to whine moan and about "lefties" when the "righties" do the same thing. That's partisan politics at its best, and a very shallow view of the problem: visit right-wing blogs, find articles, repost here, repeat ad nauseum.

Perhaps if you can convince the left of their phony sanctimony we might get somewhere. It's not us in denial.

    Did I stutter? (a speech saying) It's not a left/right thing.

It's the denial and phoney sanctimony that's mostly a left thing. You can't fix a problem you're b*tching about if you're complicit or in denial, and quite frankly I'm fed up with listening to such hypocrites lecture us about it. When they DO something about their own then they'll have standing to talk about it, but they need to clean up their own damn house before preaching to me. Understand? Clear enough?

Does anything work right here any more? Are they trying to emulate healthcare.gov? Changed my profile pic and it still shows the old one. So anyway, my new puppy...
