What are the rules in Indiana concerning felony expungment, and or sealing a record. I have no money to hire an attorney, and the felony is recent and serious , battery on an officer. I can't buy job

You will need to wait till at least 8 to 10 years after your sentence,
You will need to show no future criminal problems.
You will need to show either or both steady jobs and additional education.

You will need to file in the court where you were sentenced and the judge does not have to accept it, even after you meet all of the requirements.

You will really need an attorney.

Also even if sealed police officers will always be allowed to see the arrested and conviction
