AGAIN, you can't register a car without proof of insurance. Therefore you have to have insurance in effect before you can transfer the car to your name.

How many other ways can we tell you that you need to get the insurance before you go to court? "No fault" comes in the play when you are in an accident. Not when you get a ticket for driving to fast or making a u-turn etc. But the judge is going to ask you for proof of insurance. GO GET THE INSURANCE!

This is exactly why everyone’s insurance is so high. Coz we have people like this. Coz they don't care about insurance, Coz they just break the law, Coz they don't have a clue.

And finally, because they have not learned how to write or think correctly in school.

Its not the car itself that's need to be insured, it is the driver. You need to have insurance to drive the car, if you don't, you are driving the car illegally. It doesn't matter if the car is a gift, or belongs to someone else, you as the driver need to make sure you have insurance to drive that car. You can't transfer someone else's insurance under your name, you have to have you own policy, or be a named driver on someone else's. This is not something you can back date to when you got the ticket.
