    Good luck, we all here really wish you well, and I wish we could tell you it was going to be OK, But you got caught up in a very famous scam, well a version of it, And at least the lucky part was it did not end up in them cashing the check and you ending up owing the bank back 1000's of dollars.

    Please keep us in he loop as to what is happening.

    Next it is too late, but I wish you had an attorney before you gave everything to the police, this is not TV, the police are not looking for any "truth" they are looking for evidence to convict you. The DA is not looking to find out what really happened, the DA wants a conviction.

    None of them are there to help you, and you should never give anyone any statement, or any evidence without talking to an attorney first.

    Please understand that you can not know that anyone is going to jail. And stolen checks are of course with no weapons or injury often may get probation not jail time. I understand you wish to impress the seriousness of the issue, but please try to keep to the facts. If you have no knowledge of this specific area please refrain from making personal opinions
