Supermax (even IF you were able to get into one, which you aren't) only warehouses you... its not going to do anything to help you with your underlying problem.

And I have no doubt you would really rather have your problem taken care of than be shoved into a warehouse and be forgotten. Otherwise you wouldn't still be here and breathing.

Yea this is a stupid question. I was diagnosed with depression they gave me sanorex which I took for 8 months a varying dosages with no effect. After that I was on prozac with the same result, and now I just got off zoloft with the same result. We are now discussing Melitor as the next drug but I'm tired of drugs I won't take MAOIs either. But that's not a discussion for this forum.

Also I would like to add, I am probably going to end up in the corner of some hospital being force fed downers all day, at least if I got put in a super max I would want to be there. I am always going to be liability to society, I will always be a little leach eating up the money the country doesn't have. It will be cheaper to be in prison than a state hospital. Eventually people will give up on me and forget about me, people can't just put their lives on hold to hold someone's hand, there is way too much going on for that. I really see it as the best solution taking into account everything.

That sounds lovely. What does your therapist say?

And that is worse than being locked up in a cell alone forever without treatment exactly how?

Actually why should we waste our tax money putting you in some super max, it is 1000 or so a day to keep someone in super max, you get three opportunity to shower a day, you get to go exercise about 3 times a week for 30 min.

And you get to watch the walls.

You end up on the street if you don't want to take or find proper medication and go in and out of prison and mental health wards over the years. If you don't wish to try harder that is the real life you look forward to.

So what's the upshot if you refuse to try another drug?

So, start a new thread about MAOIs in the appropriate category.

Then find yourself a therapist who doesn't talk about himself. (I've never heard of such a thing. It's ethically wrong, actually.) Are you in or near a sizable city?

You and I both know that's not why you're on your 10th therapist.

Well the 3 psychiatrists I left after I finished my course on the meds the gave me, really a non issue. I have seen 1 psychologist but he moved his practice, and the 6 other therapists a few I just didn't like, two I can tell you for sure just wanted to talk about their experiences in life, the first two sessions we talked about me but we never finished it all just ended up being a waste of time, they kept getting phone calls and taking breaks, it was only an hour long, yawning all the time. So tell me what is it that you think I know, why does everyone have to be so cryptic.

Were these actual therapy sessions or just med checks? Many psychiatrists around here prescribe the meds and then refer the patient to a master's level therapist who meets with the patient/client once or twice a week. The psychiatrist and therapist stay in touch as med levels need adjusting. If a person goes to a psychologist, the psychologist will meet with this client at least once a week, but the psychologist had no prescription privileges, so, if meds are needed, has to send the client to an M.D. or psychiatrist.

So you dumped six therapists. Six. Why really? You're not supposed to like your therapist.

Sessions are for 50 minutes. During a session, therapists don't take phone calls or breaks. Where do you live generally that you ended up with all these incompetent mental health professionals?

Montana, probably why this state has the highest suicide rate per-capita in the country.
