    No - depending on which agency does the background check the record is NEVER sealed to certain eyes.

    If its was a drug charge then don't even bother trying to cross.

    Wait the 3 years out then make sure all your files are destroyed. Maybe hire a company to help you through the process like I have. Do not assume they will be destroyed on there own.

    Its not cheap but at least you know when you do try to cross after the 3 years you won't have a problem.
