What about these people that are into diaper fetishes? Are they considered pedophiles and could they be prosecuted as such? (Remembering a CSI episode)

I am extremely torn on this subject... just because I don't know if the other party of these chats are encouraging it.

I agree that there needs to be a way to catch this disgusting people.

About 10 years ago, my cousin (16 yrs old) met and 40 year old man on the computer. He convinced her to come see him, he lived 2 hours away, and 3 days later she was found dead. Nothing was EVER done about this! This man showed up at her funeral, stood at the back and all the cops did was make him leave. They had chats from her computer and other evidence and never nailed him for ANYTHING! I think the police need to work on using the hard evidence they have for the time being... I think that would stop more of these crimes than wasting time making a TV show about it.

You really can't do anything to peoples actions. I am still wondering why they didn't arrest the man or anything. But think about it. You lock a person out, let them go, and there going to do it again. It is a horrible thing but we can't do much. People will be who they are unfortunately :/

But then again you can't blame the guy. Your cousin agreed to go out and meet. That's the problem also. Its not only the offenders, it's there victims for being idiots.

I laugh every time I hear a girl going out to meet a guy and then soemthing happens to them. People need some commen sense.

And noo, no one was encouragigng it :

I hope you know that this "sting" operation yielded nothing as far as convictions.

    Hey,

I've been on the perverted justice website, they post the entire chat logs and then the conviction that goes along with it, take a look at the links below. Most of the guys are getting a few months and then they are out on probation and listed as a child predator. It seems that for the most part they just let the guy talk and then the person posing as a child just goes along and doesn't really have to encourage them at all.

The below are listed in order of sliminess, the top 10 are gross to read, be warned.
