    I don't think so because most would require a High School diploma or equivalent. The reason being is that your going to have to fill out paperwork and perform due process of law for your job requirements.

    No every department I know has this as the very min requirement, In fact to work for some of the better departments you will even need a college degree to be accepted. There are often 50 applications or more for any one opening. So at least a couple of years of college or a tour of duty in the military may be needed.

    There are of course small town departments, low pay, little or no benefits that a person with just high school may get hired into

    I hope not. The Animal Control Warden in my town is required to have a four year degree.
