That's basically how I make my hummus, although I add a bit of olive oil, and sometimes lemon juice, too.

How about Herring and Apple Salad in Sour Cream? Kind of an Ashkenazi Jewish special haha. Here's the recipe:

    Ingredients:

1 16 oz jar of pickled herring, drained throroughly
    1 medium onion, finely chopped
4 crisp tart apples (I like using Granny Smith), cored and peeled
    1 1/4 cups sour cream
    1 tsp wine vinegar
    1/2 tsp powdered sugar
    1/2 tsp dijon mustard
Shredded lettuce and paprika for garnish

Slice the herring and apples into bite size pieces, and put the herring, apples and onion into a large bowl. Stir the vinegar and seasonings into the sour cream, and then add it to the apple and herring mixture, stirring thoroughly. Refridgerate for several hours or overnight. Spoon the salad onto a bed of lettuce and garnish with paprika. Serve with buttered rye bread.

The only hot sauce I've used is called Rooster Brand Chili Garlic Sauce... it's Vietnamese. It's awesome with Vietnamese food, such as spring rolls, but disgusting with hot dogs. I used it on hot dogs once when I ran out of ketchup, and BOY was I sick the next day!!

OOOH don't get me started on sauerkraut, LOL! I love it! When I have a big craving for it I go to Fuddruckers and have it as a side rather than a topping! :p It's also really good mixed in with tuna salad (tuna, mayo, onion, sauerkraut).

I use the apples out of the can sense they aren't in season right now.
I will put like a pie crust in the bottom of a 9" dutch layer apples and ciinamon
Sugar. Then I make crumble out of flower cinnamon sugar and milk.
Cook for twenty minutes.coals on the bottom coals on the top.
Serve with whip cream and or hot sauce

Right now I am sitting at a computer at belle ayr coal mine waiting for a mayday

The mine is about 7 miles south of gillette
    When are you moving back
