The one that you didn't expect to have and you're starving. Or the one you find in a hotel room when you are with someone you love. To me it was all about the moment.

Ghiradelli chocolate made in San Francisco has always been my favorite. Was at the Ghiradelli factory back in the 1970's and have been hooked ever since. Even though I come from a small town near Hershey, PA, I love Ghiradelli the best - even over Dove and Godiva. Those two are too rich for me.

Someone told me he prefers Swiss and Ghiradelli chocolate more than Belgian chocolate, that he says is too runny... now you've got me on another chocolate hunt :)

I guess you're going to have to keep sampling chocolates then until you hit on one that tastes best to you. I admit it's a tough job but someone has to do it. Sigh. Sometimes the price has nothing to do with the likeability of the particular chocolate. It is strictly a personal thing with me as I do like several kinds though and not just the Ghiradelli's.

Oh Frangi - I just remembered another great chocolate - Coblentz. I don't think you can get it down under as it's made here in Ohio. Scrumptious though.

Okay, okay... Coblentz is on the list too!! Here are a few choccie sayings for you Twinks:

Nobody knows the truffles I've seen.

So much chocolate, so little time!

Simply put... everyone has a price, mine is chocolate!

Save the Earth! (It's the only planet with chocolate.)

    Will work for chocolate.

I'll eat anything! As long as it's chocolate.

There's more to life than chocolate, but not right now.

Frang - I love your "choice" sayings! LOL Just what I needed today to wake the heck up and drink some more coffee. I even have chocolate cheesecake that I make - that's how nutty I am for chocolate also. I ended up making a chocolate cheesecake Sunday and had no vanilla to add. It came out tasting better than normal with just a touch of lemon juice. Yummmm want to piece? I'm mashing in into the screen for you!

Living in the states, it seems as if we import all our good chocolate... but... Godiva is great, in my opinion.

    Swiss is my favorite though.

Course, Mackinaw Island (Michigan) fudge is quite nirvana-istic too! :)

Hmmmmm... chocolate cheese cake... yummmm. Ta Twinks :p

You and HC and Curlybenswife somehow got me wondering if chocolate is good for the skin. Do you think if we smeared our faces with chocolate and left it to set for 20 minutes we would be more appealing afterwards?

    Healthy chocolate
