    I hesitate to point this out, but none of that happened until you stepped in and started taking potshots... up to that point we were all pretty united in our reasons Christianity should win out over Islam. And since that was the original question, perhaps we should get back to it.

    Perhaps no one has pointed out to you that religion consists of two big parts. [1] First is doctrine or what we might call the theoretical aspect. That consists of the holy scriptures and any written commentaries. [2] Second, and perhaps more importantly, are the practices that devotees engage in. To make a truly well thought out decision... both factors need to be carefully weighed.

    My personal view is that the Bible stands supreme. However what Christianity practices is paltry by comparison. Therefore I conclude that changing religions for you may well be totally ludicrous.
