    Interesting.

    Given my lack of knowledge of archeology, I will tenetively state that I don't recall hearing anything that would suggest that people of that age possessed the necessary navigational skill to deliberately sail to such places.

    However, that does not preclude the possibility of accidental travel to these lands, does it?

    So I guess my final answer is...

    Sure! Why not?

    I believe that yes it could happen by accident.
    But I also think that some people did use floating things such as rafts or boats or barges to sail or float long distances from island to island out of curiosity.
