Anytime one is considering one religion or another (or indeed considering investing time or money into anything), it is best to know what you are getting into.

Although I agree with you that anyone searching for new modes of spiritual fullfillment should compare religion, the questioner did not express the desire to search for another religion thus what you offered was not an answer for her question.

The questioner was asking for advice on how to cope with her problem; she did not request a religious comparisons betwee JW and Christianity in order to make a choice. It appears that she has already made a choice and it will NOT be JW.

You may not think so, but she already indicated that it helped. Therefore your point is moot at best.
