I am 12 and I have a 17 year old head over hills for me! We have known each other for the last 10 years! We hang out every weekend and he has never tried to try anything on me! He is always there when know one else is... But, my parents say they don't care if we date! As long as he don't try sex or any other thing out of the way... I'm scared to say yes because we might not be together for long and then that mess up our friendship! So I think we should just take it step by step and maybe see what happens when I become a teen! What do you guys think?

I think that a 17 year old that sees a 12 year old as a potential girlfriend has mental issues to deal with. At 17 he should be beyond you as far as his interests and such. I can't see anything that he would have in common with you for a dating level... unless, like I said, he has issues. I would just tell him you need to be friends and nothing more.

Is it wrong to tell a guy you're not interested for a relationship with anyone at the time and then his friend asked you out and you said yes?

I just had a 17 year old ask me out again and I said yes! He wouldn't stop until I gave him a yes or no! So I said yes! Grr... What should I do?

My advice is don't date anyone. 12 is a bit young and at that age nothing but casual friends. No reasonable adult would ever let their 12 year old daughter date a 17 year old. I would have him under a jail if he showed his face around my 12 year old.

Thanks! The thing is I have known him for the last 10 years! His parents are family friends! It's just I have moved from lieving next door to him to 3 hours away! Our friendship means more then my relationship with my brother or sisters because my brother is my step-brother and my sisters have nothing to do with me! I am kind of upset because like I said we are basically Dating know and if I brake up with him what will happen? But his sister told me if he is a TRUE friend he will understand on why I can't date him!

It is pretty sick for a 17 year old boy to want to date a 12 year old. It appears you're not even ready to date and the fact that he pressured you is a big red flag.
You tell him you are not ready to date and you need to tell your parents he pressured you. There is no way I would let my 12 year old date, let alone a 17 year old.

My mom was like I am going to talk to his mom and dad! I was like I could have done that! I just told him I didn't want this because I am way to young and he was like I am so sorry if I pressured you into this... I understand were your coming from so in the morning lets act like nothing happened and lets go back to our goofy weird friendship(IN MEANINGS WE GET INTO STUPID THINGS AND DO STUPID STUFF!) She saw it because she found out I had an account and came downstairs after I texted her that! I was to lazy to go up stairs so I texted her!
