Well, I believe debmay608. My sisters and mothers did the same thing to me, in a small town, too and I had to cut ties with them and move to someplace where they could not find me. They were telling people that I was a prostitute, drug dealer and devil worshipper while I was a young mother, working full time and attending college in the evenings. It was a nightmare and the worst hurt you can imagine because I loved them so much. Why they did it, I still do not know.
