    Lump on back of head
Hello. I am 14 years old and have recently noticed a small, hard lump on the back of my head. I think it is moveable but I can't really tell. It seems exactly in the middle of those two bulbs or lumps that everyone has on the back of their skull. It is in the middle and a little higher up so about half is between the two lumps. It is not painfull and everyone in my family says it is normal and not to worry. I want to go to the doctor, but my family says I'm nuts. They say if I really want to I can. I noticed this lump about a day ago and I don't know what to do. Can someone help me?

    -Thanks
    WL

If you are concerned about the lump then by all means tell your parents that you want to see a Doctor ASAP! And then go.

I'm kind of half and half concerned. I took a course in diseases over the summer and got scared from that. Ever since I have been actinga little hypo-ish about it. But I have been having pain in my ears lately. It comes and goes. I think its from overusing my iPod, but I'm not sure. I don't have a fever (unless 96.8 is a fever) and everything has been the same. Sometimes I have headaches, but I think that's from playing too many video games and watching too much TV. Occasionally I'll get these weird pains on parts of my head where it feels like someone poked me with a sharp object. That pretty much all my symptoms if it helps. Also my younger brother has some allergies to wheather changes, I never got tested to see if I had them. Here's my plan, I'll call my doctor on Monday to see what he says. I'll take any other suggestions. Thanks rbritto.

    Thanks,
    WL
