What he's telling you is, it is hard to stop having sex, once you start. You could go out 100% determined not to, but find yourself in a position where it is just too hard to say no. At least, on the chance that that could happen, you will have protection. So, he's saying tuck them in your purse, he likely doesn't want to see you sexually active, but, he cannot control you 24/7, and at least this way, you won't be pregnant. I think everybody agrees with your father that it is far better for your future, if you don't have sex.
Prove him wrong. Do well at school, cut the sex completely, and when you graduate highschool, and head down that path to college, hand him back the condoms and say you never needed them. I think that would be music to any parent's ears.
As to the list. You're already on your way. No sex. Do well at school. Plan and work hard to get into college. Recognize photography is a talent.
